00:01 Praise Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Brothers and sisters, today the power of Christ Daily 9 September the titled work of God. Examine yourself, gentle and quiet spirit. Examine yourself, gentle and quiet spirit.

00:19 Work of God. Yesterday we dealt with the work of God. The work of God is believing in Jesus Christ.

00:25 The more we believe in Jesus Christ, we are doing the work of God. That is the definition of work of God by Jesus Christ, by God himself. So let us not use worldly work definitions.

00:37 Worldly work definitions. We have all kinds of things, one of which is of course, physically you are working, you are doing something, you are doing something. So people are mistaken to believe that immediately when
following Christ, immediately they ask you to do this and that and all.

00:52 Yes, we need to take care of things. But starting point. God has made it very clear the work of God is believing in the One whom He sent.

01:04 Believing in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. And believing means not the new English context that we understand. Just I believe.

01:11 I believe believing means cleaving on to Jesus Christ, trusting in him, everything in him, in Him. Purely putting a whole trust in him, cleaving into him. He is the husband of our soul.

01:25 So our soul must cleave into Jesus Christ. And Jesus Christ must be formed in our soul while Jesus Christ is in our spirit, inside us, formed in our soul. Now, one of the sad things I see over the years, many, many,
many I’ve seen this.

01:46 Some are even Christians. Many old people have been left behind by their families. They’re suffering.

01:55 They may be in some home. Sometimes the families pay some money for the homes. Sometimes they don’t do that.

02:03 Sometimes their people are just struggling, running from house to house. I’ll come to examples a little later. But when it happens to a Christian, they.

02:11 Then there is question mark. Why has this happened to a Christian? Because what Jesus word is what? My children will not beg bread. Yes, they may be getting food and lodging and all.

02:22 They may not be begging. But there’s another law that goes on. What God has said, what we sow, we will reap.

02:29 There is no escape here. And that is one of the saddest things I see. One of the things I find they shouldn’t be in this position because if you are in Christ Jesus, first of all, there will be a change.

02:43 The change is to love. Because God’s love in you and you want to love people. Not the bossy kind of lording over.

02:51 There’s a scripture that says you’re lording over them. No, no, in Christ we don’t lord over them. If you are Lording over them.

02:57 He says, you are part of the like, the unbelievers. Unbelievers lord over people. He said, if you are a Christian, if you are mine, you will not lord over them.

03:07 You will be actually the servant of them all. You will serve them all. Although you are servant of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, you are not their servant or slave, but you will serve them.

03:09 You will serve them because you are servant of Jesus Christ. You are slave unto righteousness. So how does this happen? First of all, I keep reminding myself, First Corinthians 8:2, brothers and sisters, please make
this part of you also, because it helps us, it saves us, keeps us safe.

03:36 First Corinthians 8:2 says, those who think they know something do not yet know anything as they should. I must always remind myself if I think I know something I do not know as I ought to know. I do not know
anything as they should as I ought to know.

03:46 I do not know anything as I ought to know. So that keep me humble. We know we know something.

03:59 We don’t know the whole story. If you can pray this inside you, because if not, what I know, knowledge puffs. Puffs up.

04:08 Puffs up means putting your chest up. Puffs up makes you feel very important. Knowledge puffs up.

04:13 God says, so you cast it out. In the name of Jesus Christ, I command every wicked, unclean spirit of oh, I know spirit, get out of me in the name of Jesus Christ, every I know spirit, get out now in the name of
Jesus Christ. And I receive a spirit of meekness and humbleness to know that I do not know anything as I ought to know as yet as I should.

04:32 I do not know anything as I should. Therefore, in the name of Jesus Christ, I humble and Almighty Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, make me remember this. Make me follow this, Lord, that I really do not know
anything as I ought to know as I should.

04:52 So I will make me humble so that when I’m dealing with people, when I’m speaking to them, I will remember this. I do not know as I ought to know as yet. So I will begin to counsel people.

05:02 I’ll begin to talk to people with the humbleness to know that I do not know as I ought to know as yet. In Jesus name I pray. Brothers and sisters, if you keep praying this, it will happen and it will give you great
success.

05:17 I am telling you, people will listen to you because your spirit will be in that standard. You will be in that standard and people know that you are not a puffed up telling this and that and they will. Finally God
will let them know.

05:30 You know a lot. But of course you yourself know. You do not know anything as you ought to.

05:35 Ought to know as yet. Now the other problem is one of the things when you are yoked to Christ, if you are yoked to Christ. Remember yesterday we talked about yoke to Christ.

05:46 If you are yoked to Christ means you are attached to Christ. Christ. Now we allow Christ to be cleave.

05:53 We cleave unto Christ. We don’t want yoke. We are more than that.

05:56 We cleave. We first yoke, learn from him, learn from him, and then cleave and learn from him and cleave into Christ. When you cleave into Christ, one of the things God tells you to do is examine yourself.

06:09 Examine yourself. This for Christians. Christians, every Christian, a true Christian will examine yourself.

06:16 Second Corinthians 13:5. Second Corinthians 13:5. Examine and test.

06:22 This is amplified the longer version. Examine and test. 2nd Corinthians 13:5 onwards.

06:29 Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourself. We don’t test others.

06:43 We don’t examine others. We examine ourselves. Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith.

06:53 Faith. What faith in Jesus Christ? What he said. What is the work of God? Believing in the One whom He sent.

06:57 Believing in the One whom He sent. Do we believe him? Test that and see. Do you really believe Him? Do I believe him in everything I do I have to test myself.

07:05 Do I believe in Jesus Christ? Do I put my trust in Jesus Christ? In this matter that I’m holding on to the faith in Christ, I have to test myself in everything. I’m making a decision. Test myself.

07:10 Do I put my faith in Christ or put my faith in something else? Now he said, do you not yourself realize and know thoroughly by an ever increasing experience that Jesus Christ is in you? That means we must be
experiencing thoroughly and one by one ever increasing experience. That Jesus Christ is in us is ever increasing experience. Unless your counterfeits can you imagine? Unless you are frauds, Unless your counterfeits
disapproved on trial and rejected.

07:59 So we first must know that we do not know anything as we think we ought to know. We do not know anything as we should. 2.

08:09 Examine and test and evaluate ourselves whether we are holding on to your faith in Christ. In everything we do, we have to test and prove ourselves. 3.

08:22 If you are not doing the Testing yourself to prove yourself or you try to test yourself and then you find that hey, I’m a counterfeit, I’m a fraud in this one Counterfeit one Counterfeit money. Counterfeit money
means fraud money, fake money. I’m a fake, I’m a fake of Christian.

08:40 Oh, important brothers and sisters, if you are yoking, if you say you are a Christian, you are in Christ. Christ is in you. And the work of God is what Believing in Jesus Christ that is cleaving on everything we do,
we hold on to him.

08:58 And now God is telling us this is a command. Examine and test and evaluate yourselves. You don’t need anybody checking.

09:06 Now why will people finally check on you? You know, because when you do not examine yourself you’ll end up doing some rubbish again and again and then people will say you’re doing this, you’re doing this brother,
you’re doing this sister. Because it is harming or hurting or irritating people. And then when they do this, oh, you get some more angry because you see this person.

09:27 When you do not examine yourself and test yourself humbly against the word of God. When people examine you finish and God says also let people examine you. There’s a command also let your neighbour examine you.

09:41 Why we tend to examine ourselves with colored lenses. We are wonderful. I am a wonderful person.

09:48 I know, I know this. I don’t know, I don’t do all this. I am a great guy.

09:51 I am a great guy. That is what our heart and miserable mind will tell us. Our heart and mind cannot be trusted.

09:59 Brothers and sisters, our conduct. We examine ourselves. Do I truly have my trust in Jesus Christ in everything I do? How do I have a trust in the world and other things and all or even my knowledge puffed up and
all.

10:12 And Jesus Christ commands us, let the others examine you. If you are a true Christian you will allow others to talk tell you clearly what is right and wrong they believe is in me. I must allow it.

10:26 In my case, when I first started my family I will sense because there is nobody to examine me. So what I do. I’ve been looking at this my family.

10:37 When the spirit changes, when the countenance changes, I already know I’m wrong somewhere they are not saying it. Maybe my wife, she doesn’t want to follow Christ already and again before born again I was such a
violent and all that angry and all that. Of course I didn’t hit her and all I did not do violence on her by violent outside and all but inside there I’ll use words to cutting words and all that.

11:04 And so she won’t talk by gozo. But in the Christ. When I’m in Christ, already I see her countenance change.

11:12 I already know something is wrong here. The Spirit is changing. So I must now check myself.

11:17 So I’ll go and cry out to God. God will convict me. The Holy Spirit will tell you, you’re wrong, Son.

11:22 Then I will adjust the thing quickly. Adjust it quickly. Make it right again.

11:25 Make it right again. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Now you see one of the most important things, especially for women, and it implies for men also 1 Peter 3:4.

11:38 Rather, let it be the hidden person of the heart and the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. Women, sisters. I’m begging you.

11:51 I’m not just asking you. I’m begging you. Because I’ve seen sisters, older sister, elderly women in trouble because they didn’t follow this quiet and gentle spirit.

12:02 Gentle and quiet spirit which is most precious in the sight of God. Please examine yourself to see whether you have these every day. It’s not a question of dressing outside.

12:14 Some translations say do not put on fine clothes and all. That’s wrong. Do not.

12:19 That’s very wrong. Don’t know. You can put on five clothes and all and wear gold and all.

12:23 Some translations say do not use gold. You know, so that’s wrong. That’s wrong translation you can use.

12:29 But let your beauty be not based on that. What God saying, Let your beauty not be based on what you wear. How beautiful.

12:37 Wearing clothes. Wear beautiful clothes. Beautiful gold, beautiful hair and all your braiding and all.

12:41 Don’t let it be that. Let the beauty be from the inside. Incorruptible, cannot be corrupted.

12:48 Beauty of insight. Gentle, quiet spirit. Do you have it, sister? Because we don’t have it.

12:54 You please examine yourself. This is causing you trouble already in the spiritual plane. It will be breaking relationships.

13:00 It will be breaking with your. With your brothers, with your sisters. I’m talking about your immediate family.

13:07 Brothers and sisters with your children, with your husband and old elderly men, with your grandchildren, with your wife, with your children. It will be breaking. It will be breaking.

13:19 Now one case comes to my mind. I know. I told the sister, please, sister.

13:25 She was in another church, caused all kinds of problems. So somebody brought her and immediately I counseled her. Look, you need to humble yourself.

13:32 Need to this clear and you can cast out. We have Jesus Christ of Nazareth. In the name of Jesus Christ, I command every spirit that is not of Christ.

13:43 Get out of me. In the name of Jesus Christ, now. And you begin to do the breath of God.

13:48 Receive the humble spirit. Receive the gentle and quiet spirit. Receive it.

13:53 Receive it. In the name of Jesus Christ, Receive it. But this sister didn’t listen.

13:58 And some more she’s old, older, and she has no work. And so she’d been living from house to house in her children’s house. And her biggest complaint was nobody wants to have her.

14:09 They all. After a few 12 months, I said to leave. I told her, sister, you have to examine yourself.

14:15 Please examine yourself, because something must be wrong in you. They don’t want to listen, won’t listen. And that night they said, one day I counseled her.

14:23 And then I think a few days later, suddenly I get a call from another sister in Christ who’s ministering to her. She said the daughter called and said she’s calling the police. The daughter of this woman has called
and said, calling the police because her mother does not want to keep on banging the door, wants to come in and they don’t want her there because they can’t take her anymore.

14:45 They cannot stand her, cannot stand her. Cannot stand her. Can you imagine? Cannot stand her anymore.

14:52 So they finally called the police and the police took her away. Finally the police released. But they are in such destitute situation.

14:59 That is why when we hear people saying, my family didn’t care for me this and that, you have to check if as a servant of God, when you’re ministering, you check and see, did they have this gentle and quiet spirit?
If they don’t have gentle and quiet spirit, you have to tell them, please, brothers and sisters, you have to get this. Examine yourself. In 2 Corinthians 13, 5, examine and test yourself.

15:20 Do not be fraud, Christian. Do not be a fake. Test and prove yourself that you are in the faith.

15:26 You are holding the faith in Jesus Christ, brother. This is very critical. This one.

15:32 If not those who are not listening, I’m telling you, I’m begging you, please. Whether you’re man or woman, as you continue living life and you do not have the spirit inside, no love and care. You do not have love
for others.

15:43 You do not have a gentle and quiet spirit inside you. Then what will happen? Step by step, relationship will be broken and eventually you’ll be left alone. Many times, many times, if people are left alone, oh,
brothers, let’s not have this.

15:58 In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, amen.
