6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness,

00:00 Praise Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Brothers and sisters, the power of Christ daily. It’s the power of Christ. It’s not my words or what I’m saying or doing is the power of Christ.
00:13 The power of Christ for you. Brothers and sisters, today is 11th September 2015. We are still in the work of God.
00:19 What’s the work of God? Examine yourself and Fruit of the Spirit. That’s the title. Work of God.
00:24 Examine yourself, Fruit, Fruit of the Spirit number two. Second segment. Now yesterday I made an error when I was finally saying that, you know, gentleness.
00:37 God Almighty is almighty God. And it leads those who are young. And I kept repeating it.
00:43 Actually he leads those who are with young, who are with young. I only realized it after when I heard it back. So imagine that.
00:54 Just imagine this. He is so almighty, so powerful, King of kings and Lord of Lords. And yet he stands down and says, those who are young with you, he leads them, he cares for them.
01:10 This is what when God says, you know, it is gentle. It’s not a soft and sweet business. Gentle means the person you are, you have some power and you do not use that power.
01:25 For instance, if you take that example of a man who’s tough. He works in the field or works in the logging and he’s very tough and is muscular and is solid. He will fight, physically fight and all that.
01:39 And yet when he listens to, let’s say, a song and he touches his heart and his daughter is singing the song and he touches his heart and a tear comes down from his eyes. That gentle, tough, but yet sensitive.
Sensitive to the things.
02:02 And he sees a woman who is suffering and he feels it and he does something that’s gentle. Gentleness comes when you full of toughness and power and all. And yet you don’t use that power and all that.
02:17 You feel you’re sensitive to the needs of the people, sensitive to your surroundings. That is why husbands have to do these. We have to be sensitive to our wives, sensitive to the wife’s needs, wife, children’s
needs.
02:35 Because if you’re tough and all that and then you don’t care, you don’t think about it, you are not sensitive to the issue. You just do what we want to do, on and on and on. That is not gentle.
02:49 That is actually wrong harming, self seeking. It is no self control. It is actually so full of self.
03:01 We will not do that. We will now in Jesus Christ’s name. We have the power in the name of Jesus Christ to be able to be gentle even when we are Tough and all that.
03:12 We will be gentle. As God says, be gentle means be sensitive to the needs of the people. Oh, you are tough, you are healthy, you are fantastic today, this and that.
03:24 And then when somebody is suffering there and somebody is weeping in your office, quietly sitting down there and because something happened to his family, you don’t feel it. You don’t feel it. You’re not gentle,
you’re not sensitive, you have to feel it.
03:41 What’s wrong with this boy? What’s wrong with this man? What’s wrong with this sister? What’s wrong with this brother? What’s wrong with this woman? She is in this, her face shows, the countenance shows she’s
hurting. And then when they say something that for you is not a problem at all, you say, ah, come on, why you think about these things? Forget about it. That’s kind of not.
04:05 No, you must understand this. God said be gentle because if they are sad and broken on something that you can easily manage, that doesn’t make it that they can easily manage. You do not know the surroundings, you do
not know the issues that they are facing.
04:23 That’s why God says if you think you know something, you do not know as you ought to know as yet you don’t know the whole story. So brothers and sisters, today the gentleness is missing because people, especially
when young people, young people, when they think they can do the gung ho, they just don’t think about this. I’m talking about by majority, not all, they just don’t think about that somebody who is suffering and that
they need.
04:50 That is why in the trains you have to put a clearly. If you see an elderly person, you give your seat. Isn’t that common sense? You see elderly fellow struggling, you don’t give a seat.
05:00 Or you see a person struggling to sit, a woman with their child or something. Of course that’s gentleness. You stop and do.
05:07 You’re feeling it, you’re sensitive. Now having said that, let me also deal with this haze business. Thank you for your prayers and thank you for calling on Christ for us and caring and loving me and my family and
others.
05:22 And now this. Okay, Hay this. I also feel sorry for these Indonesians themselves.
05:27 I’m sure they also suffering. Singapore is very bad. Looks like from time to time, unless the rain comes and clears.
05:35 Now what you sow, you reap, you will get out it only mercy miracles. Clear? Yes, I’m still able to do that. My family is still.
05:45 You know, my wife became a bit bad yesterday, but she improved by the evening. She was improving already. Thank Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
05:51 Thank you all brothers and sisters for, you know, one chases 1,000, two chases 10,000, three chase 100,000. That’s the multiples God has put in there. When a few of you get together and think about something, you
know, in this case, about us, you know, we’re suffering with this Malaysia or whatever suffering, this haste business.
06:13 And people should be okay. It has an effect because our spirit backing up the thought, whatever you have to think more than that, we have done for you. So I am grateful for all of you who are also listening to this
and those who are outside, we pray for them now, even those who are doing nonsense and causing this problem, we love them.
06:38 So every time I take a breath and let’s say, oh, Kayla, I’m coughing, but I better think I love them. Why? Because their fallen nature, the issues are plenty. They don’t know why.
06:50 They do, because driven by greed, of course they may be caught in circumstances and the persons who are doing it may not be the persons who are in control. They are just being employed or whatever. So we love all,
we forgive all.
07:03 We forgive and love all for our own sake. I forgive and love all. And I am able to, by the name of Jesus Christ, I command my heart and mind to love all and forgive everybody and love all.
07:13 And God will see us through. Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Jesus power will see us through.
07:18 Now today I have introduced another scripture in addition to what we are talking about. The fruit of the Spirit. Again, remind ourselves one fruit, second Peter 1:4:8, by which have been given to us exceedingly
great and precious promises, second Peter 1:484, by which we have been given exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that
is in the world through lust.
07:51 And then he goes on five. We’ll do this the next few days or so, but also for this very reason, giving all diligence. Add to your faith.
08:01 Virtue to virtue, knowledge to knowledge, Self control to self control. Perseverance. Perseverance to perseverance.
08:10 Godliness to godliness. Brotherly kindness. Brotherly kindness.
08:15 Love. So here Peter has put out, Apostle Peter put up step by step how this whole thing works. It’s sort of equation here.
08:22 And then he says in 8 if these things are yours and abound, you will neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of your Lord Jesus Christ. That means you’ll be useful. You’ll produce good fruits.
08:38 Now let’s look at this from the Fruit of the spirit. You’ll end up. You and I will end up producing good fruits.
08:48 Good fruits. That means the fruit of spirit is there. We have all the shades and all the taste and all lovely things, the flavor of the fruit of the spirit with us.
08:58 And then we’ll produce fruits. Fruits. Because we become fruitful.
09:04 Now we come to the first part. Fruit. 4.
09:07 Corruption that is in the world through lust. You know the world definition lust means it’s always sexual matter. It’s not just sexual matter.
09:14 Lust simply means, in the biblical terms, greed and going after wanting things more and more and more and more wanting and wanting unreasonably, uncontrollably wanting. Now this can apply to the people who are the
big corporations or whatever that are cutting down trees and then the rest of it, taking the trees away, just burn the rest of the jungle clearance. Because of course, for money, greed and lust.
09:43 But it is a world. But when those people are doing it, what we do. Jesus clearly says God’s command means we shall not judge those who are in the world.
09:51 Those in the outside we cannot judge. We have to judge those who are within the congregation. We have to judge their conduct.
09:58 We can’t judge and say, you go to heaven or hell or whatever. We have to judge the conduct. We have to judge my own conduct.
10:04 I have to examine my conduct. I have to condemn me and judge myself. And I won’t be judged.
10:09 That’s what the verse of the Bible says. If you examine yourself and judge yourself, you won’t be judged. Because why you judge yourself and change.
10:18 Thank Jesus for that. And we can. Because why? In the name of Jesus Christ, the power is given.
10:24 Thank the blood of Jesus Christ. The power of giving. The Holy Spirit is inside us.
10:28 The Christ is in the spirit, inside us. From the innermost part of our body, the most part of our belly. And Christ is being formed in our soul.
10:39 Surely can. No issue here. Now let’s go on first.
10:43 Now let’s look at this adding business. So somebody, okay, we eat food. Now, let’s say I decide that I like something, I like a particular food, and I begin to go for it.
10:56 Go for it, go for it. That’s actually lasting already. That means if I don’t have it, I get agitated, I get angry, I get upset.
11:03 I will go, I’ll spend the time and energy, drive a couple of miles to go get that food that is actually lusting. So lusting is a broad definition, broader definition in the Bible. And now God says that you have
escaped this.
11:18 You have escaped the Corruption that is in the world through lust. The corruption in the world is there because of lust. Lusting for money, lusting for things.
11:27 Lusting, lusting, lusting. Not just never enough, never enough. And this when we and our children or we ourselves working outside, we have to be careful because the spirit of lust will catch us.
11:41 We are sitting and talking to the same people now. That is why even if you are in sales, yes, sales, you have to be successful and all. But if the team becomes.
11:50 I must be successful. I must get more sales. More sales, more sales, more sales.
11:55 Never enough. Of course the company will put that kind of pressure because they were there lasting for their profits. But if you fall into the trap, you’ll end up sinning.
12:05 You’ll end up doing something wrong. You’ll end up saying things wrong to even get the sale. You will end up doing things against your Christ.
12:14 This is the danger. We just follow the world. Yeah, but then my company target is this.
12:20 And I have to do this. Yeah, the company target is this. You better cry out to Christ to say, lord, give me a job that doesn’t make me lust after this thing.
12:29 Lusting and lusting and lusting. Finally God says, you have escaped the corruption of the world through lust. The world through lust is corrupted.
12:37 We don’t want to be corrupted. So we have to become wise. Wise to think and examine ourselves even in a job.
12:45 You really mean to tell me that your God, the husband of your soul, will not give you a different job even in a recession? Now our faith must be in Christ. Our faith must be in the faith of Christ. He said, never
leave here for secure.
13:04 So brothers and sisters, we can get out of this. So just don’t be thinking, don’t be trapped and don’t become a captive to the world system. You become a captive to the world system.
13:15 The peace. You won’t have peace already when you have no peace. Now the fruit of spirit is what? Love, joy and peace, isn’t it? Love, joy and peace.
13:24 If you don’t have the first three things, seek the kingdom of God, which is righteousness, peace and joy. If we don’t have the peace, peace, your health will go. So yeah.
13:32 Then after that the company is going to care for you. Yeah. They will give you a medical card.
13:36 And then when the medical card runs out, what happens? And we know 90% of diseases are caused by spiritual roots. We know this. There are clear cut statistics and studies done.
13:40 90% of diseases are caused by this world will say stress. Stress. It is because of this.
13:57 So while you are accompanied and then it may look good, they will give you a present. They give you a trip and they give you oh, then you go a trip and come back and you feel good and they forget about this. But
actually, step by step, the world is sucking you into lusting after things.
14:14 Does it mean that you shouldn’t get rich? No. God said, I’ll give you power to get wealth and I will not add no sorrow to it. I’ll give you power to get wealth and there’ll be no sorrow added to it.
14:25 While the world system is they give you wealth and add sorrow to it every day. So therefore you have to trust your God in Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus power will see you through.
14:36 Now that is why in second Peter 1:4:8 starts with that is why anywhere, any job you are in, the lust of the world will creep in. So you watch out. Even in some jobs that you may think it is not a sales job, you may
think is this.
14:54 Suddenly they have the KPI key performance index. They’ll keep on tightening the key performance index. They keep on tightening the key performance index to the point that you are getting stressed out.
15:06 No more peace, no more joy. And you can’t change their key performance index. It’s their company.
15:11 So you better cry out to the Lord and look for another job. And live without our means and righteousness, peace and joy. We have health, health for the family and all that.
15:21 Now when you have all that, the money won’t be stolen. The devil came to steal, kill and destroy. He can’t steal from you.
15:27 You cast him, get rid of him in the name of Jesus Christ. And at the same time you’re keeping your righteousness, peace and joy in you. Health is given by Jesus Christ.
15:35 All that is happening and money is not stolen. If not through health itself. All the chase.
15:41 You did all they told you to do and chase isn’t it. Health itself will suck off your monies. People have sold houses and then just to pay for some chemo or something.
15:54 Brothers and sisters, today let’s focus on this second Peter 1:4 to 8 and also the Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
