00:00 Praise Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Brothers and sisters, today the power of Christ Daily 27th November 2015 titled My First Love. My First Love. Brothers and sisters, as I keep telling our today has been determined from how we went to sleep last night
before we went to sleep.

00:20 It determines what was going to happen today, why, how we have cleaned ourselves out of spiritual. All the bad demons and negative forces and evil spirits and deposits they put into us our thoughts, our toxic thoughts, our toxic feelings and all
that bad feelings against people or even upset somebody has upset you. We cannot go to sleep like that.

00:42 We have to go to sleep in the peace of Christ to clear everything out. It’s a wonderful thing Jesus Christ has done for us. He had to suffer like that, die on the cross, rose again and then he loves us to say, I give you power.

00:59 He has to do all that to give us power to use his name. Can you imagine? He gives us power to use his name and call on his blood and we can live a life well. Although there will be trouble all over the world here around us, the families this and
that.

01:15 But we will have righteousness, peace and joy when we seek the kingdom of God, which is righteousness, peace and joy. Brothers and sisters, I keep reminding this because it’s critical. Before sleeping, talk to your heart, commune to your heart,
meditate on the issues, cast out every rubbish that we’ve collected or whatever and then receive love, love of God and to love for others, release love.

02:51 Brothers and sisters, the world will make us only love things and make us Believe that we can only love what we see. And that causes a lot of problems. Because you see the first love.

03:06 Yes, those of us who have had our first love, we would have experienced and the world will tell us to feel things, go by sight, go by hearing. What is our first love? It can be a thing, but it can also be people. But mostly it is people.

03:22 Person. A person. If you have that person as a first love, trouble comes.

03:27 Why? The human being, however much the person loves you, will fail in areas. In some areas, because he is a human being, he or she is a human being. He or she has faces and all kinds of problems that you face, you and I face.

04:37 Lord Jesus Christ clearly said, love God with all your heart. What’s the highest command? The first commandment is love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. Love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength.

04:48 That’s the first command. So now we read the Book of Revelation, chapter 2, verses 1 to 5, and you will see what God, Jesus Christ is saying to us. Is the word of God, what is he representing here? And we are titled it.

06:05 Jesus Christ telling I know your works, your labor, your patience. This wonderful isn’t it? He knows our works, our labor, my patience. He knows and that you cannot bear those who are evil and I cannot bear those who are evil.

06:18 People doing evil things to people around we cannot bear, we don’t like it. We want people to do the right thing. We want to do ourselves the right thing first.

06:26 And we cannot bear people doing the wrong things. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not and have found them liars. You see there are a lot of self appointed apostles running around.

06:38 Some association appoints them apostles and running around. And God says Jesus Christ says here you have tested them and found them to be liars. 3 and you have persevered and have patience and and have labored for my name’s sake and have not become
weary.

06:55 Is he persevered? I suppose I pray I persevered and with patience and labored for his name’s sake. And I’ve not become weary. I hope I’ve not labored for my own case, my own agenda, but for Jesus name sake and have not become weary.

07:14 For nevertheless I have this against you. Can you imagine Jesus saying you have done all this? That I have done all this? Your works, your labor, your patience. He knows all this.

07:23 I have tested apostles and found them to be liars, those who call themselves apostles. And I have persevered and have patience and have labored for his name’s sake and have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you.

07:37 So I have to ask myself what Jesus says next. Is this applying to me? I must examine deeply to make sure that I’m not simply superficially examining. I must examine it.

07:47 Nevertheless I have this against you that you have left your first love. You left your first love. Now this you have to examine brothers and sisters, you might have worked all the works and labor your patience.

07:59 And you tested the so called apostles and found them to be liars. And you stayed away and you do not want to be part of any evil. And then you persevered and have patience and have labored for his namesake and have not become weary.

08:14 Yet Jesus Christ says with all this we’ve done, nevertheless I have this against you that you have left your first love. Your first love must be who? Jesus Christ of Nazareth. That’s our first love.

08:28 Now can you imagine you have not left your first love. The question I have when I First read this years ago was how have I Have I left My first love, that is Jesus Christ? Have you left your first love, that is Jesus Christ,? Have I left my first
love, that is Jesus Christ’? Not all the worldly songs are not my first love. There’s songs and all that.

08:49 There’s only you in my life. That’s right. Yes.

08:53 But the person is putting his faith in a person. Jesus already said, do not put your faith in a person. We trust them, but we know they are limited as human beings.

09:03 So we can’t put our faith in them. Our faith has to be in Jesus Christ, who is unlimited. Now.

09:09 Have I. This is a question each of us have to ask today. Have you left your first love? While we are doing all this work for God, we think and then labor. We are patient.

09:19 He says, I recognize that. I know you are doing this. Jesus says, and you are also testing apostles.

09:25 Remember I talked about these false apostles and all that. We have tested them, found them to be liars. And we have persevered.

11:18 Remember, therefore, from where you have fallen. Repent and do the first works. Or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place unless you repent.

11:31 Remember, always a question of repentance. It’s an issue of repentance. Whenever we do wrong, we have to repent, not just say sorry.

11:38 Repentance is more than that turning away. I’ll come to that a little later. So we have to repent now.

11:43 Here’s what Jesus is saying. Remember from where you have fallen. So when I am living my first love, where my heart and mind has left my first love, that is Jesus Christ.

11:52 In the last 20 years I am serving, there are several times during the period God has reminded me and I felt it or I felt it, sensed it, that hey, I am not keeping Jesus Christ number one. There are other things encroaching into my life. There are

13:55 Now, repentance, exchange yourself, inner self, your old way of thinking, your sinful behavior, and seek God’s will. Repentance actually is removing our old way of thinking, our sinful behavior and seeking God’s will. And do the works you did at
first means when you first knew me.

14:13 He says, amplified, says the first work that you do means do the works when you did at first. First when you knew me. When I first knew Christ, what was I doing? How was my heart? And then he said, he’ll remove all this unless we repent.

14:28 Now, remove the lampstand means the church. He’ll remove the church. I mean, the church is not powerless.

14:33 It’s not part of him, that particular group of people or whatever. Yeah. So now here, brothers and sisters, the requirement here is very simple.

14:42 We must know what are first love. But to know where your first love means we must be doing the first works. That’s key.

14:49 5. Repent and do the first works. When we’re doing the first works, then we know we have our first love.

14:55 This key again. We know we are still, we have the first love in our heart and mind. When we do the first works, what is the work of God? Believing in the One whom He sent.

15:05 Everything we do, we must believe in Him. We suddenly, suddenly begin to believe what the world says, what the history book says, what the economic says, what the treasury says, what the people of the world say and what the doctors say, what the
lawyers say. We believe that.

15:23 What science says. We believe that, then we are not believing Jesus Christ. What’s the work of God? Believing in Jesus Christ, believing in the one whom he sent.

15:32 That’s how we know whether we left the first love or not. Because we begin to believe the world and we begin to believe the signs. We begin to believe the hospitals and the doctors above Jesus Christ.

15:45 That’s why bring everything under the subjection of God, every thought. Believing doctors, believing lawyers, believing engineers, believing the economist, believing the accountants. Believing the Auditors, believing this above the word of God,
above Jesus Christ.

15:59 Then you have lost your first love. You’ve moved away from your first love. You do not have your first love.

16:04 You first believe in Jesus Christ. That’s the work of God. By what we do when we come back to the first.

16:10 Repent from where you’ve fallen. Remember where you’ve fallen from. Repent and do the first works.

16:14 Then you have the first love. First work is what? Believing in the One Whom he sent. So we keep on believing Jesus Christ.

16:22 First go to His Word. What he says is important. Seek His Word.

16:26 When you begin to seek His Word and apply in your own life on the issues that you’re facing, then you are having the first love. But if we do not lean on His Word, you’re not leaning on Jesus Christ. Then you’re away from your first love.

16:41 Then we have trouble. Then we have trouble. Brother.

16:43 It’s very simple. How to know when you’re fallen from where you’re fallen. And not having your first love is when you’re not doing the first words, which is believing in the name of Jesus Christ and everything that in your life.
