Genesis 6:4 New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (NRSVCE)
4 There were Nephilim (men of stature, notorious men) on the earth in those days—and also afterward,,,,,
26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:
15 I will put enmity between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and hers;
he will strike your head,
and you will strike his heel.”
6 Now it happened, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them,
2 that the [a]sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful and desirable;
and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose and desired.
5 Examine and test and evaluat
and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves
Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you—unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected?
3 For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
2 Those who think they know something do not yet know anything as they should.
26 He said to him, “What is written in the law? What do you read there?”
27 He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul,
and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”
28 And he said to him, “You have given the right answer; do this, and you will live.”
