sent. We are supposed to believe in Christ.

00:34 We believe in Christ, God, Father, our Father sent his Son, only begotten son and it all is asking us to believe in him, cleave to him, cling to him, trust in him. That is the work of God. Now does that mean that we
don’t do anything else? Suppose somebody wants you to clean the toilet in the church or rearrange the chest, of course we do that.

00:53 But primary one, we must be doing this, believing in Christ, believing in Christ, brothers and sisters, yes, we have to do. We have to take care of the daily needs and all. But if we just do that, taking care of the
daily needs, washing the place, cleaning the place and planning tracks out or whatever and then we don’t do this.

01:14 That is why there’s another word which says work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. What is happening to you? Your soul won’t change, your heart won’t change, your mind won’t change. And then we still
suffer.

01:26 There are a lot of people doing this work. I’ve come across deacons who are suffering and their homes are in a mess, their family in a wreck. Deacons, how is this possible? Because they do not know this, that the
work of God starts with believing in Jesus Christ and everything clinging on to him.

01:44 Now brothers and sisters, I’m now reading from the King James version, Matthew 11:28 30, Matthew 11:28 30 which says this, Come unto me. Jesus saying this is very, very. If you take time to meditate on this, your
soul will be lifted right now.

02:06 Your spirit will be lifted right now. Just look at this. Come unto me all ye who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.

02:17 I will give you rest. This is one of the things that impressed my soul. I could sense it in my soul when I first came to the Lord.

02:25 Come unto me, Jesus is saying, and I will give you rest. Come unto me who labour heavy you labour and a heavy laden burden, completely burdened and I will give you rest. Oh, that kept me going after I came to the
Lord.

02:42 Come unto me. And I knew and I went into him. I had peace Unbelievable peace.

02:47 That is why this is a very important scripture. Come unto me all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you
shall find rest unto your souls.

03:08 30 for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. My yoke is easy and my burden is light. I’ll repeat this.

03:18 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn of me. Jesus is saying to you, to you, to me, learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. So to find rest unto our souls, we must be meek
and lowly in the heart.

03:28 I am meek and lowly in the heart. Now some translations will tell you he is gentle and lowly in heart. Remember, some people have mistaken because gentle under the modern context it means completely different than
what it meant when they translated it at that time.

04:02 Can you imagine the incident when Jesus went to the temple and everybody was abusing and making money by the millions. You know that millions were being translated there in modern day calculation, modern day value,
millions of dollars being transacted there. And he said, you this is my father’s house, a house of prayer, but you have made it into a den of thieves, into a cave of thieves.

04:29 And he made a whip and whipped, started weeping, running, everybody running, whipping, turning tables, chaos. Pandemonium was going on. Now how is that going to settle? If we say he is gentle and we look at the word
gentle as if we understand gentleness, like now nowadays.

04:48 Gentleness is a wrong translation to what it was meant. He was not a coward. Jesus Christ is never a coward.

04:53 Jesus Christ is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He, he will not tolerate. Nonsense, nonsense, you know, Father’s house of prayer made into a den of thieves.

05:05 So therefore, do not be mistaken when people preach be gentle, be gentle. They are talking about today’s understanding of gentle. What of them? You quote this.

05:13 What did Jesus do when they were doing rubbish in the house of prayer? He made a weapon start of weeping. So therefore you put aside, he said meek and lowly in heart. That is why this is for people who are burdened
and confused and lost and all that.

05:29 But for those like Pharisees who want to hang on to their false beliefs and want to burden the people and all, Jesus will stand there and tell them truthfully. You see, you brood of vipers, you snakes, you call
them, those who are burdening the souls to do this and that. And Everything else there are a lot of religious Christianity is burdening people do this, do that.

05:51 No, he has done it for us. Now we receive it in faith and first have rest in our souls. Now I am reading from the amplified the next before we go and elaborate.

06:01 Second Corinthians 3:18, amplified. And all of us as with unveiled face because we continue to behold in the Word of God. Remember we have addressed this in the past.

06:47 I’m not going to bother. Believed by my heart and my mind was telling my stories and making me confused and making no more, no more, no more. And then he says and I constantly.

07:03 Because we are doing that, looking at the Word of God, meditating on the glory and word of God are constantly being transfigured into his, his very own image. We are being transferred into his own image and we are
being changing in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

07:24 How to change ourselves we cannot, but His Word will change us if we do this, if we put the word of God for that particular issue. We meditate and think about it and think about the glory in Jesus Christ said this,
he said this, he did this, he did that. Oh, and then when you begin to do this, we are being changed from inside without even realizing.

07:44 Now we’re coming back. Today I’m dealing with the work of God. Work of God first is believing in the One whom He sent.

07:54 And if we believe means we will do what he tells us to do. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me. For I am meek and lowly in heart and you shall find rest unto your soul.

08:07 So when you are disturbed, when you are finding difficulties, some issue going on, you have to take your yoke. For instance, you are going for a job interview and then you are desperate for the job. You are
desperate, you are desperate.

08:23 And when you go for the interview, your desperation, the spirit of desperation will be touching the the interviewers. And they will not find you comfortable in their hearts, in their spirit. Their spirit be affected
because you are desperate.

08:40 But if you go with another spirit, first spirit is, love your neighbor as your spirit. Love your neighbor as yourself. You’re going and say, lord, I’m going for this job.

08:51 I want to do the best there. I want to care for these people. I want to perform here.

08:51 I want to make sure that this company, if this is your will, I’ll get this job. And I’m not desperate because my desperation no more. Because you care for me, you provide for me.

09:07 My provider is you. So I’m not looking at this job as my provider. I’m going there.

09:12 Yes, Lord, I’m having a lot of pressures, but I know you see me through. You will never leave me or forsake me. I will never beg bread.

09:21 Something will happen here. Something will happen. Whether this job or next job, something you’ll provide for me.

09:26 You have always provided for me. I give thanks in all things that you have commanded me. When I’m doing this, I’m beholding the Word.

09:33 You have always. I’ll give thanks in everything. I’ll rejoice and rejoice and give thanks in everything, good or bad.

09:38 I’ll rejoice and give thanks because my heart only thinks it’s bad. Everything will work for my good, because that’s yous word. All things will work for my good, for those who love God.

09:53 Make me love God. In the name of Jesus Christ, I command my heart and mind to love youe, Lord. And to love youe means to keep youp commandments.

10:13 You’re going there because love your neighbor as yourself. That spirit will go across and they will know, hey, I need this person. Jesus can go and put it there, you know, in their heart now.

10:30 But here he said, take my yoke. Take my yoke now. When I was 7 years old, 7 and 8 years old, I think maybe 7, maybe 6, 7, 8, around there for 12 years, I was in India.

10:46 My father sent us out to India, and I was there. And I. In the school holidays, I’ll go to the village, my grandmother there. And I used to take care of cows.

10:58 So when I take care of cows. So I understand this yoke business to a point. As I said, if you think you know something you do not know as you ought to know as yet.

11:07 So even this to a point only I understand. So I’ll say what I understand. I do not know the full picture.

11:12 I’ll tell you what I understand now. Cows yoke. Yoke is a heavy block of wood.

11:18 You know, wood. And this wood has got a concave depression under it. 2.

11:27 2 of it. 2 concave depressions under it means little cutting in the wood. So they can put the piece of wood on the two cows neck.

11:36 On the neck of the two cows. So there’s a little depression there, little hole. I think you put it there.

11:43 And this is solid. Now when we are doing this, I have also written cows. I have written bullock cards.

11:50 So when we do this, one of the problems is you may not be able to match the size of the cows. When you are putting this thing. May not be able to match because your herd, you may not have perfectly matched.

12:03 Or somebody has taken two matching cows and gone ridden another bullock cart. And now you want to ride this bullock cart. You have one big cow and one small cow.

12:13 So now when that happens, what happens? The big cow can pull you here, there, everywhere. Because it’s big. And the small cow actually is not carrying any weight out of that.

12:24 The yoke is just resting there. Only he is not putting pressure on the neck of the small cow. Why? Because the big cow is big.

12:33 Huge, bigger than taller. So now imagine this. I have a God.

12:40 His name is Son of God. His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He is almighty God.

12:46 He is telling me, come, son, take my yoke now. Can he make him take my yoke now in the normal bullock cart? Of course, because we ride, we control the big cow. Otherwise the bullet will just go off anywhere.

13:01 We control the thing with the ropes attached to the noses. Isn’t it so controlled now? But here, what’s happened? My yoke. I am meek and lowly in heart.

13:12 Come, come. I am lowly in heart. I care for you.

13:15 I love you. I love you. I am love.

13:19 God is love. Jesus Christ is love. I love you.

13:22 Come, son, take my yoke upon you and learn of me. Not just take my yoke upon you, you learn of me. For I am meek and lowly in heart.

13:32 There are a lot of Christians full of pride, you know. And I know this. They talk as if they know so much and then they actually talking wrong.

13:40 Misunderstanding of scriptures of God. Talk, talk, talk, talk. They’re very quick to hear, slow to speak.

13:45 Change any one of you hearing this and you are convicted with this statement. Change, brother, change, sister. The more you talk, the devil is going to take the words and use it against you.

13:52 The more you talk and the more you talk. You already say, quick to hear, slow to speak. The more we talk.

14:01 We are talking nonsense. When we talk, we talk. Try and talk the word of God, but talk with love.

14:07 If you don’t have that, nothing to say. I am meek and lowly in heart. He slowly run.

14:13 And he said, take my yoke. Can you imagine? He’s almighty God, completely, immensely, infinitely big. He’s got a yoke on him.

14:23 He says, and he says, come, let me. You come and take. And he says, my yoke is easy.

14:30 My yoke is easy. Really. I know because I’ve seen this cows, the small cow.

14:36 Nothing, carrying, no carrying anything anymore. No weight. And my burden is light.

14:42 Actually, you get to God, there is really no burden. You begin to think of His Word, meditate on His Word. And you think, Lord, I will love my neighbor as myself.

14:53 When I go to the interview, I will think, I will prepare like this. You are going there with the spirit. Brothers and sisters, when you begin to meditate on these words of God, peace will come upon you.

15:05 Peace will come upon you. Peace. Friends, today is a wonderful day.

15:11 Just knowing this and practicing these, and thinking about this, and meditating about this, and meditating about this will give you long, long growth in the Lord. Beautiful Christ. Beautiful Lord.
