00:00 Praise Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Brothers and sisters, today the power of Christ daily. 9th of November titled many said he is dead. Many said he is dead.

00:14 Now the power of Christ Daily we receive the power of Christ daily to live our life. We trust Christ and therefore the power comes. We trust.

00:24 Believe in him. Believe in him that he took away our sins. Believe.

00:27 Believe that he died on the cross and given us power to cast out evil spirits that are destroying lives. And the power of Christ comes. And the power of Christ comes.

00:37 And the first thing we use the power of Christ is to love all. Love all, Love all. Love our neighbour as ourselves.

00:47 Love God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength. It is impossible to love God like that without the power of Christ. Because no one can go to Father God except through Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

00:58 Brothers and sisters, today it’s a wonderful day. Why? Very simple. But Jesus has given you one more day to do his work here on earth.

03:00 Brothers and sisters, today the title is Many said he is dead. Now in Mark 9, 14, 29, there’s a long scripture. It’s an event.

03:10 Jesus death described the event the Bible has described what happened when Jesus came. He came to the disciples. He saw a great multitude around them and the scribes disputing with them.

03:22 The scribes means like a lawyers, you know, legal, this, this biblical scriptural Jew lawyers arguing the people write the the laws and all that. Disputing with them, arguing with them. Immediately when they saw him, all the people, greatly amazed,
came running to Jesus Christ, the Lord Jesus Christ, and greeted him.

03:41 And he asked the scribes, what are you discussing with them? One of the crowd answered and said, teacher, I brought you my son who has a mute spirit. And whenever it seizes him, it throws him down, it foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, grinding
his teeth and becomes rigid, rigid not like rock. So I spoke to your disciples that they should cast it out.

04:05 But they could not. They could not cast it out. 18 or 19 here he answered him and said, o faithless generation.

04:13 Jesus Christ answering now, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to me. Then they brought him to him. And when he saw him immediately the spirit conversed, you see here, convulsed.

04:30 And he fell on the ground and wallowed. Wallowed means rolling and falling, foaming at the mouth. So he asked his father, Jesus Christ asked his father, how long has this been happening to him? From childhood, the father answered, can you imagine
how much the suffering the father, the family the boy has gone through, was going through? And often he was thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him.

04:55 The devil takes and puts him, trying to drown him, trying to put the fire. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us. If you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.

06:32 Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly and came out of him. And he became as one dead. So many said, he is dead.

06:40 But Jesus took him by the hand and lift him, lifted him up and he rose. And when he came into the house, his disciples asked him privately, why could we not cast it out? And he said to the disciples, this kind can come out by nothing but prayer and
fasting. Now, brothers and sisters, when we read these events, it’s very important for you today I’m going to tell you some issues.

07:05 How you read this event, line by line, precept by precept. The whole concept we have written now, we read the whole story now and we know roughly a concept what is happening here. Boy is suffering.

07:16 My childhood caught by a spirit throwing him water and fire. Turn down him, kill him off. The the Father had gone all over the place.

07:22 Suffering came to Jesus, came to the disciples. The disciples couldn’t. And then there were the scribes, all arguing there with the disciples.

07:29 And then he came to Jesus. And Jesus said, if you can believe, he asked Jesus, if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us. Because he started, if you can do anything.

07:43 Then Jesus said, if you can believe, all things are possible to him he believes. Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief.

07:48 The man said. Now the issue is simple now. When Jesus saw the people running together, he rebuked the spirit.

07:59 Deaf and dumb spirit commanded you to come out of him, enter him no more. Then the spirit came out, convulsed greatly and came out. And he became like one dead.

08:06 And so many said, he is dead. Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up and rose. And of course he is alive.

08:11 Thank Jesus Christ of Nazareth. And then the disciples later asked him why we couldn’t cast out. He said, this kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.

08:21 Now let’s look at this. You have to, when you reread that particular event when Jesus events are happening in the Gospels, when you’re reading a line and then you meditate how it actually happening there, you picture this thing happening there.
Picture what’s happening in the Bible, what’s happening at that point in time.

08:40 And then you picture how it can relate to your life. To your life. Now let’s see, what are the issues that can relate to our life.

08:47 We have suffering. Then we can also parallel this particular story, parallel it, mirror it and see other events can take place. It is, the physical is happening, but in the spiritual also your life can be happening like this.

09:01 Now for instance, you are suffering, let’s say. And then you’re saying if you can do anything, Lord Jesus, have compassion on us and mercy. Have compassion on me, Lord.

09:11 Mercy Lord, how many of us pray this? I have prayed this many times. Compassion on me, Lord. Mercy, Lord mercy, Lord Mercy Jesus.

09:17 Mercy Jesus. Because why? What else? He is my God, he’s my father, he’s husband or my soul. I go to his mercy.

09:36 80% is spiritual root. The diseases, the illnesses, the conditions, the problems or whatever the problems. Also even death problems is spiritual.

09:45 80% spiritual debt problems. Because spiritually we don’t control our own heart and mind. We follow the world.

09:51 We’re not conformed to the world, not the word of Jesus Christ. So we get into debts. If you’re following your friends, they going for makan.

09:58 Eating Makan in Malaysia is Malays. Makan means eating dinners and lunches and eating. So you keep on going with your friends because you don’t want to let them know you don’t have money.

10:08 You don’t, you don’t excuse yourself. So you keep going with them. Yeah, you feel shy when you don’t go with them because they say they, they may have money.

10:16 We don’t care but you have or not. If you don’t have, you don’t join the crowd for that dinner because. Or lunch because you end up paying.

10:25 You may not sharing the bill you end up paying. Taking turns you don’t have. And you have other commitments, then it’s spiritual.

10:33 Now look here. So 80% of our issues are spiritual. 20% may be physical issues in the illness.

10:39 But let’s look at the other issues. So you feel shame, but Jesus took your shame. So you can humble yourself.

10:49 There’s pride, you know, trying to pretend you have and continue with them. And spending, spending instead of telling them, look, brothers, I got the Commitments. Or sisters, I got the Commitments.

10:59 So please, I cannot join you if they say, please come. You may not feel good because you’re not paying. So once in a way, you pay.

11:35 And Jesus said, if you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. Then you begin to think, if I can believe, am I believing in Jesus Christ? If my faith in Jesus Christ settled the issue for me, or if I have faith in me to settle the
issue for myself. If my faith in me won’t work, I must have faith in Jesus Christ.

11:57 If I believe this thing will settle. I believe this thing. What are you believing? So you believe in Jesus Christ will settle you.

12:04 You cry out. He said, seek ye the kingdom of God first. And all these things will be added to you more than enough.

12:10 So you call on him and say, then you examine, I overspent too much. I budgeted here and there. I’m not breaking the budget.

12:18 I’m following the world and all that. Examine yourself. And God said, take control.

12:22 Even eating too much. All kinds of outside food. You begin to carry sandwiches from home.

12:27 You better start adjusting to live your life within your means, brothers and sisters. Now, Lord, Then when he said, okay, then he cast out, right? When he cast out, the boy became like, dead. And when he said, he’s dead now, can you imagine in real
life, many times English, the people will say, oh, it’ll get worse before it gets better.

12:49 It must get worse before it gets better. You have heard this, I’m sure in Tamil also, probably in the Chinese or so. It will get worse before it gets better.

12:57 Why? Human beings have seen a pattern. Things get worse. So when the things get worse, when you’re praying, when you’re praying to Christ, asking for this and that, whatever the issues to settle you.

13:08 And when things get worse, don’t give up hope. You see, the example given here is he became like dead. Many people are dead.

13:16 They don’t have hope, they don’t have faith in Christ. When things become like the thing you’re praying for, the issue looks like it’s dead. Don’t believe.

13:24 You believe your God to give you mercy, mercy, mercy. The issue like cannot handle is finished. But you have prayed, you have examined yourself, you have settled everything.

13:36 You ask for forgiveness. You, you have your heart, your love, everybody. You seek the kingdom of God, righteousness, peace and joy.

13:43 And then you’re asking Jesus Christ, you have righteousness, peace and joy with all that going on. Then when you see this happen, the issue that you are praying for, like let’s say no promotion or you’re going to be transferred and you don’t want to
transfer, you don’t want to be transferred. And you continue praying and hoping and merciful God.

14:00 And then you believe. Because if you keep on thinking that God gone, it’s gone. So here, that is why things will get worse.

14:08 So you hold on to Christ because it may be the next day the thing can settle. But eventually, let’s say something happens and your transfer is still transferred to you, Then what you do, all things are good for you, all things work out for the good
of those who love God and are called according to his purpose, you say, lord Jesus. That means in a way you pray.

14:30 God still allowed. Jesus Christ still allowed the transfer. You will say, lord, you allow the transfer.

14:36 That means it’s good for me. Now you accept it. You must accept it when things have happened already.

14:41 You’re a child of God. You must believe that Jesus loves you. God loves you and he has allowed these things to happen.

14:48 And you accept it. Why? It’s the best for you. You will move on and say, lord, you want me to do something? I’ll deny myself and pick up the cross and go and settle this.

15:00 Why? I’ll follow you, Lord, I’ll follow you. Then peace comes back when you accept it and deny yourself the Peace comes back. And then finally here the issue is why it doesn’t come out.

15:11 In this case, this kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting. So who has been praying and fasting? Actually when I began service in the Lord, I was casting out evil spirit, people will come and all that. Finally I realized it’s impossible
to fast.

15:28 For every case I tried to fast. Finally I said, lord, I cannot do this. Then I read some other book, some other manual on one person.

15:36 Earlier the minister has passed away. He had written a book. I saw this.

15:41 He said, look, he also had the same problem. And he asked Jesus, Jesus said, look here, I didn’t ask you to pafas for everyone they fast. The Father, the Father coming, he should fast.

15:53 He’s setting a gap for the son or the people want something, they should fast. Why not that God will give your faith will increase. Why your faith will increase.

16:28 Destroying the carnal mind and the faith will increase. That is why now if you are praying for people also and you’re casting out nothing working even for you how to cast out for people, you then fast to deny yourself because of cross and deal with
the spiritual forces. Brothers and sisters, today when you read the Bible again from though now you read differently line by line thinking of the issues, thinking of the parallels.
