00:00 Praise Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Brothers and sisters, today the power of Christ Daily. 18 December 2015 titled they came out of the Graves. They came out of the graves.

00:02 Brothers and sisters, this is a critical scripture because this is when the Old Testament ceases and the New Testament starts. The Old covenant ceases and the new covenant starts. This is in Matthew 27:51 to 53.

00:29 I’m reading. I’m reading from the easy read version because the easy read version goes like a story. Matthew 27:51.

00:38 When Jesus died, the curtain in the temple was torn into two pieces. The tear started at the top and tore all the way to the bottom. Also the earth shook and the rocks were broken.

00:53 That means there was earthquake. 52. The graves opened and many of God’s people who had died were raised from death, from the dead.

01:03 You know, they raised from the dead. 53. They came out of the graves and after Jesus was raised from the dead, they went into the holy city and many people saw them.

01:14 Now this is a fantastic. This is historically recorded, by the way. Historically recorded.

01:19 That is why the whole issue of Jesus dying rising again is a pivotal point in our lives, a pivotal point in the life of humanity, the whole humanity. But the problem is the ruler of the world has deceived many, most actually and blinded our eyes. I
myself was deceived before until Jesus showed mercy.

01:44 And because of my troubles, they allowed some troubles. And I came to him. And the veil over my eyes dropped and I could see Jesus Christ is really the son of the living God.

01:54 And he died and rose again for me. He suffered for me. And he gives me power in Mark 16:17 to cast out evil spirits, including the evil spirit that caused him spiritual blindness.

02:05 Get out of me. In the name of Jesus Christ, brothers and sisters. Now let’s look at this.

02:10 When Jesus, some translation of the say when Jesus cried out and gave up his ghost or gave up his spirit, that means died, the curtain in the temple was torn into two pieces. It started tearing from top right to the bottom. This issue, the curtain
has a very big curtain.

02:31 You know, it’s a thick curtain. It is reported to be 60ft in height and 40ft or 30, 40ft in width and hand upward. They say the palm of the hand, thickness.

02:45 That means you’re talking about at least 6, 8, 9 inches thick thick curtain started ripping by itself from the top to the bottom. And what is the significance of first of all, this curtain being torn to pieces in the temple? There’s this huge
curtain there. And behind it is the holy of Holies, where the priests of the Old Testament are supposed to make sacrifices on behalf of the people.

03:13 When people bring in their unblemished sheep to be slaughtered as a sacrifice once a year and all, all the sacrificial things goes on, the priest is only one that selected for that particular sacrifice or different sacrifices, different priests goes
in, goes in and makes the sacrifice. It has been reported that they will die. Rope around the priest’s ankle and when he goes in, because if he has sung sin and he will die inside there.

03:44 That is why the priests are holding the question of being sinless and doing all the things right. It’s a huge issue. It’s a life and death issue, actually.

03:53 So when the priest goes in there, there will be a rope around his leg, around the ankle. So when he goes there, what happens is he will do the sacrifice. And when I suppose it must have happened and the priest died.

04:06 So nobody else can go in because you will die. So they pull the priest out, the dead priest’s body out using the rope. But only the priest can go in and make the sacrifices.

04:20 Now in the New Testament, Jesus calls us holy priests. We are holy priest. Why? That is why the temple curtain was torn from top to bottom 60ft by itself when Jesus died.

04:35 Died, remember on that day. And the son of Saul bracket. No more light on midday.

04:42 The sun goes dark because the son of the living God is sacrificing his life. And the sun, Father God made the sun go dark. Finished.

04:51 The whole place was dark. There was. They say it’s eclipse.

04:54 No, the whole world was without light. Eclipse is only in a certain place that will be without light because that’s where the sun is shining and the moon covers it or whatever. Here the whole world went in darkness.

05:06 And all the demonic forces have gathered around there. To think that if Satan and the demonic forces are gathered around there believing that death is a victory by getting Jesus Christ killed off, there will not be a savior for mankind. But actually
they didn’t understand.

05:24 They didn’t understand the plan of God is for Jesus Christ to actually die on the cross and then to rise again. And then by doing so he had taken all the sins of mankind. All our suffering, all our fears, all our confusion, all our curses, all our
shame.

05:42 He had taken all that and went into hell and went on hell for our sake, for those who believe. And then he left everything there and he came up finished. He is now Jesus Christ sitting at the right hand side of Father God.

05:53 And that time the temple well tears so that now there’s no more ways everybody can enter. Anybody who believes in Christ can enter now. So he says from that time, the one acts, it will say he doesn’t.

06:07 From then on, he doesn’t live in a temple made of hands. He lives where? In the temple that he made the body of saints, the body of believers. He lives inside earth.

06:17 He lives inside us. Through the Holy Spirit, Christ in us and we in him. So therefore the sacrifices stopped nothing.

06:27 There’s no more sacrifices needed for us. We go into Jesus Christ. With the blood of Jesus Christ, we enter his throne of grace, his throne of mercy.

06:37 We enter. Go straight. There was a mercy seat inside, behind the curtain here.

06:43 We enter his mercy. We enter his grace. His mercy seat ventured directly to his throne of grace.

06:49 Why? We have been covered by the blood of Jesus Christ and there is no more veil, curtain blocking us. We are the holy priests. We go directly.

06:59 We don’t have any other priests to go through. It is us. He calls us holy priest.

07:03 And we do the sacrifice. What is the sacrifice? Keeping our temple of God holy. That’s the first act of sacrifice.

07:11 First spiritual act of sacrifice. First act of worship is keeping the temple of God holy. And which is the temple of God now? Our body.

07:18 Our body. Our body. Therefore, we examine ourselves.

07:23 I say examine ourselves. Before you go to sleep, examine yourself. Is everything all right? Did you do everything right? Anything wrong? Ask for forgiveness.

07:29 Ask for forgiveness. Because you don’t have to wait for a priest to go and offer sacrifices for you. Because the temple, the curtain has been torn.

07:38 We are directly inciting. He said, come unto me and I shall give you rest. Come unto me.

07:44 Jesus Christ is telling you, brother, today. He’s telling you, sister, today, come unto me and I shall give you rest. And that’s what happened to me.

07:51 I had to go into him because there’s nowhere else anywhere else for me. I run into him finally, when I ran into him, that was why long time I was resisting to go into him, you know, because I don’t want to confess my sins. I don’t want, and I have
false belief that I must become holy to go into him.

08:07 He says, no, take all your sins, all your curses, and come unto me as you are. But willing to obey my commandments. Willing to obey my commandments.

08:16 If you love me, keep my commandments. So come willing to obey me with all your curses, with all your sins, with all your whatever rubbish you can. Sickness, disease, whatever comes with your psoriasis, with your cancer, with your whatever.

08:31 Come, come, come, come with it. Come with Your sin, your adultery, your fornication, your lies, your deceit, your addiction, your drunkenness. Come.

08:41 Come, he says, come. But believe in me. I am the one who is going to cover you with the blood of Jesus Christ.

08:47 I’m the one going to wash you. I am Jesus Christ. Come.

08:50 Come unto me and I shall give you rest. Come. Come.

08:54 There’s no more curtain, son. There’s no more curtain, daughter. Come.

08:57 Come directly to me. I will make you the holy priest for me. And at the same time, you know what happened? There were people.

09:07 The earthquake happened. There’s an earthquake. Big earthquake with recorded history.

09:10 Earth shook, rocks were broken, earth opened, graves were open. And many of God’s people who had died were raised from dead. Many translations will say many of saints.

09:23 Many of the saints who died were raised from the dead. Why it says many. They came out of the graves.

09:31 Now, can you imagine? They came out of the grave and after Jesus was raised from the dead, they were seen in the Holy city, they were seen in Jerusalem by many. This record is really people were frightened. The people who died earlier, many of them
were now walking around, walking around alive.

09:51 But there are Bible commentaries will tell you after a while they lived for some time. They didn’t live forever. They lived their lives again.

09:59 And then they died again, one more time. But this was a symbol. God has allowed a signal.

10:04 He has allowed that many of God’s people, many of the people, why not all? Because there will be many who believed in Jesus Christ while he walked this earth, when he was in ministry for the three years, there will be many who believed. And from
there some would have died. Those who believed in that period when Jesus Christ was preaching and teaching and healing the sick and forgiving their sins and all that going on, thousands were coming there, isn’t it? And many, many, some would have
died.

10:36 And that some who believe in Jesus Christ would have been raised on the day when Jesus rose again. The others who did not believe in Jesus Christ, but they were Jews, they were following the Jew custom, the Old Testament and all, they wouldn’t have
been raised. They have a different those who were not raised today because whatever said and done, they were following the Jew custom properly and all the Old Covenant.

11:00 If they’re following the old covenant, God will judge them by the Old Covenant simply because he doesn’t break covenants. He made a covenant and people accepted it. If those who kept that covenant, the Old Testament and the Old Covenant was God will
deal justly, fairly, mercifully in that covenant for them.

11:20 But in fact, God Said, many will fail, all will fail. Because to kill those covenants are not easy for their own beings. Because one send me your toast already.

11:31 Now, brothers and sisters here, Jesus said, look, you come, come to me. And that is why many walked around. When Jesus was raised from the dead, many were seen in the holy city.

11:40 Can you imagine people who know who died earlier are all walking around and why God made a signal to them, the people alive. Look, you believe in Jesus Christ and you will live, you will live. And this was recorded history too.

11:57 Therefore the Romans, also the Roman conquerors who were actually controlling the place, but don’t know what to do. And that is why the word of Jesus Christ, that Jesus Christ died and rose again, was spreading. That’s why the Pharisees and the
Sadducees and all these people, the scribes were getting frightened.

12:16 They do not want to allow this. Why people started following Jesus Christ because all these signals had taken place, the sun had gone completely dark. And then finally Jesus dies and rises again.

12:27 And so much so the Roman soldier who was watching when this happened, when all these read the next few paragraphs. It’s good for you to go and read brothers and sisters, Matthew 27. And in fact in other Luke and all that, you better read Luke, Mark,
John.

12:44 There are certain things that each will have their own way of saying things, own different angles, different information. Please, you encourage yourself. Jesus is coming back.

12:53 Jesus is coming back. Now those of you who are suffering or some issue going on, go into him. Go into him directly, because why there’s no more curtain blocking you to go into the holy of Holies.

13:06 No more curtain is torn and is telling you, come unto me and I shall give you rest. Come unto me. You go directly because you’re a holy priest.

13:15 He calls you holy priest. When you begin to obey, willing to obey, he makes you obey. Can you imagine how wonderful.

13:21 I only have to be willing to obey and he makes me obey. He makes me holy. I can’t be holy, I’m rubbish.

13:28 But he makes me, he washes my sin. He said, come unto me and I give you rest. And it gives me power to cast out evil spirit.

13:35 Cast out. Brothers and sisters, today any Confucian spirit of confusion, get out. But if confusion is there, you must understand.

13:41 The God’s word says there’s some self seeking there and some envy there. And there’s a confusion comes. And when spirit of confusion comes, when the spirit of confusion comes, every evil thing is there.

13:53 The Bible says, therefore do not get confused, get casting it out, knowing fully well, your faith in Christ you finally he will save you. He loves you. He loves me.

14:03 He promised Joseph to hang on to him. Hang on to him. Love me with all your heart, mind, soul and strength.

14:07 Love me with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. Don’t divert and give some love here. Love that love everywhere.

14:16 Here no love one saint. Love other saints and then pray. This saint called that saint.

14:20 He said, come unto me, Jesus. Can you imagine this Jesus Christ of Nazareth when he died on Rosing and all this happening. People come out of the grave, brothers and sisters.

14:30 And walking around. Many have seen them. Not only the disciples.

14:35 Later the disciples see in the upper room. Remember they were hiding there. And he turns up there.

14:39 And then Thomas was not there. And then later Thomas says. I put my finger into the nail pierced hands.

14:47 I will not believe. Then Jesus turns up suddenly and Thomas panics. And my Lord and my God, he says.

14:54 And then he said, you believe because you see. Because Jesus told him put out his palm and said, put your finger into the hole. Put your finger into the mark where.

15:05 Into the hole where the nail has gone through. Very pierced him. He panicked.

15:11 And my Lord and my God, he said, you are blessed because you see. You believe. But blessed are those who do not see and yet believe.

15:19 Now brothers and sisters, you are blessed because you do not see and yet you believe. I am blessed because I do not see and yet I believe. I believe by Jesus Christ.

15:27 He suffered on the cross. He died on the cross. He rose again.

15:31 Now remember, the curtain was torn, the graves were opened. Many because those who believed in Jesus Christ. While he was serving that few years, he was healing people.

15:43 And those came out and walked around. People saw. Almighty Father, in the name of Jesus Christ.

15:51 I thank you, Lord Jesus, for your son, the merciful Son of the living God, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I thank. Thank you for opening my blind, getting my spiritual blindness out of me and drawing me into yourself, Lord Jesus.

16:05 And I ask that all those who listen to this will be drawn into you. Draw them, Lord, and give them mercy and show them the power and make them do your will as holy priests. Unto you.
