The Light

00:00 Praise Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Brothers and sisters, today the Power of Christ Daily 16 February 2016 the light title the Light Brothers and sisters. The human soul knows that light is good. It knows that.

00:16 Why the human soul knows its light is good. God the Creator put it there. That is why you see even something bad happens that says.

00:26 In fact I’ve seen this in Australia and a number of countries including UK and America and all that. When let’s say some crime has happened, some. I saw this in actually in Australia and Melbourne when one girl was murdered, you know, and raped and
all that and kidnapped from one place.

00:46 Then what people do, they go put the candles there, they put flowers there and then they’ll put candles and all that, right? They put a lot of candles. So everyone passing by, they light a candle. Now every religion, they light candles, they light
some kind of lamp.

01:02 Because the human soul knows the light is good. Darkness is not good. Darkness is bad.

01:08 The human soul in fact fears darkness. The heart will fear darkness. The soul knows darkness is something evil lurks in darkness because it is there.

01:20 From the beginning, the soul knows, the heart knows. Children are sometimes fearful of darkness. Human adults sometimes are fearful of darkness.

01:30 So from the beginning, from the beginning of time when God created light, Almighty God created light. The soul already knows when the soul was created. It knows light is good.

01:42 So let’s read some scriptures first. That is why you see for instance the festival of light like Hindu custom and religion, they have festival of light. Light overcomes darkness.

01:55 There’s a king who fought for them. That’s how the history goes or legend goes. I’m not sure the king has fought for them.

02:04 There was an evil king who was oppressing people and all that. And finally another person can fought for them over come and release them. And then they have a festival of light.

02:13 Light has come. Life is good. Now let’s read in John 1:1:9 what the Bible says.

02:22 The word of God says regarding light. In the beginning, before all time. I’m reading from amplified here.

02:25 In the beginning, before all time was the Word and the Word was with God. The Word was God himself. The word is Christ.

02:38 2. He was continually existing in the beginning co eternally with God. He was continually existing all the time existing from the beginning.

02:49 3. All things were made and came into existence through him and without him. Not even one thing was made that has come into being.

02:59 For in him was life and the power to bestow life. And the life was the light of man. The life was the light of man.

03:09 The light shines on in the darkness. And the darkness did not understand it or overpower it, or appropriate it, or absorb it. There came a man commissioned and sent from God, whose name was John.

03:26 This man came as a witness to testify about the light, so that all might believe in Christ, the light through him. John was not the light, but came to testify about the light. There it was, the true light, the genuine, perfect, steadfast light which
come into the world and lightens everyone.

03:50 Brothers and sisters, today, in the beginning, there was a word. The Word was Christ. Actually, the Word is Christ.

03:54 The Word was with God, and the Word was God himself. So God and the light, the Word was together and the Spirit of God together. So as a three in one.

04:06 And this I’ve explained before. You can imagine this to be, say, water. Water can take the form of vapor, can take the form of ice, can take the form of just water, liquid, so solid liquid, vapor, like air.

you know, science experiments will show you if you put a little light in a dark room, just one light, a match in a very dark room, in a very dark hall, in a big hall, you write it.

05:23 Even in the darkness of the night, you just go out and light a candle. It will be light. The darkness cannot overwhelm it.

05:34 Therefore, who created light, let there be light. God says, let there be light. This light issue is a critical issue.

05:41 Because the light is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ. And he is the light of men.

05:48 So men have to go to him. Now, let’s look at some other scriptures. John 8:12.

05:54 Once more, Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.

06:05 So when we follow Jesus Christ, we will walk in the light. We must walk in the light. What’s the proof of following Jesus Christ.

06:12 We are walking in the light. We are not walking in darkness. John 12:36, while you have the light, believe and trust in the light.

06:22 Can you imagine John 12:36 saying, While you have the light, believe and trust in the light. The light is who? Jesus Christ. Have faith in it, hold on to it, rely on it.

06:35 And Jesus Christ, the light of the world, the light of men. Have faith in what is trust in the light, Believe and trust in light, have faith in it, hold on to it, rely on it, so that you may become sons of light, being filled with light as followers
of God. There should not be any darkness in us.

06:51 There should not be any shady, deceitful acts inside us. There should not be things, oh, we want to do something there for people with an agenda. We should not be doing things with, okay, if I do this, a person will do this for me.

07:08 And all that is not light, that’s darkness, that is guile. That deception, that is deceiving, that is deceitful. Brothers and sisters, God wants us, Jesus Christ wants us to be completely humble and full of light.

07:23 Light means we have nothing to hide. We have nothing to hide. If you’re hiding something, there is darkness in there.

07:31 That means the light. You have not allowed the light to overtake the darkness. You’re not.

07:35 You’re the Jesus is the light of the world, light of the men. He is the light. But you’re not allowed the light, Jesus Christ to go completely in every part of your heart.

07:44 So there should not be any deceit and guile and deception and agendas, you know, self agenda, self seeking, all inside there. You must be full of light. Only when you are full of light, you will have light.

07:57 Because we are walking in the light that will not walk in darkness. You won’t have any of this sitting down there. And then we will have the light of lights.

08:06 Now we will read another one here. John 3:19 21. They are judged by this fact.

08:16 The light has come into the world. But they did not want light. They wanted darkness because they were doing evil things.

08:24 Everyone who does evil hates the light. They will not come to the light because the light will show all the bad things they have done. I’m reading from easy read, don’t make it simple here 21.

08:37 But anyone who follows the true way comes to the light. Then the light will show that whatever they have done was done through God. Again, John 3:19.

08:48 They are judged by this fact. Who? Everyone who doesn’t come to the light doesn’t come to Jesus Christ or even come to Jesus Christ and still hiding things. Say they are with Jesus Christ, but they’re just actually hiding things.

09:01 They’re not really following Jesus Christ. They’re false followers. There are false Christians, there are false Jews, false Christians, false believers in the Bible.

09:10 Clear. There are such false believers. They are judged by this fact.

09:14 What light? The light has come into the world. But they did not want light. They wanted darkness.

09:21 Because they were doing evil things. Everyone who does evil hates the light. They will not come to the light because the light will show all the bad things they have done.

09:33 But anyone who follows the true way comes to the light. Then the light will show that whatever they have done was done through God. Now, when you come to the light, the light will expose the evil thing in us.

09:45 When you come to Jesus Christ, when you cry out the hip, he’ll show you sign. This is wrong, doctor. This is wrong.

09:51 What you’re doing is wrong. And then some people, instead of accepting what is wrong, go against the light. Go against the word of God.

09:58 That is why there are some people who do not want to hear the scriptures. When they hear the scriptures, it pokes them. And then they think I’m mocking them, I’m poking them.

10:07 The scripture, the word of God, is po kingdom. Poking them. Because there is sin there, there is darkness there, there is evil there.

10:16 The heart wants to keep. They may have been born again. Their spirit man might be alive in Christ, but they’re not allowing the light of God to change their heart.

10:25 While our hearts, God already told us, is treacherously wicked, who can know it thereby? Some people will say, God knows by heart. God knows by heart. That’s why I tell them.

10:37 Of course God knows their heart. But God also said, who can know it? That means he’s talking about us in your heart. The treacherously wicked.

10:46 Who can know it now? Brother or sister, you don’t know what’s in your heart. You think you know, but God already said you do not know. God knows.

10:54 And the devil also knows why. It’s in the spirit world, in the spiritual plane. So when God knows what’s in your heart and you say, God knows in my heart.

11:03 But your heart may be doing wicked things. And you may be thinking wicked, feeling wicked, but thinking you are right, the devil and the heart have deceived you. You have allowed yourself to deceive by the spirit of deception and allow the heart to
deceive you.

11:17 Then when you say, God knows my heart. Yeah, he knows that your heart is wicked. Yes.

11:22 He knows your heart. But he knows your heart is wicked and you are allowing your heart to make you do wrong things instead of you controlling your heart. So we must control our heart.

11:30 We must control our mind. By being renewed in the spirit of our mind, we begin to control our heart. So, brothers and sisters, again here.

11:39 So why do people not come to Jesus Christ? Because they want to do evil things. They want to hide in darkness. They want to do the right thing.

11:49 Why didn’t I take me? I was told about Jesus before. Finally, before Jesus arrested me or caught hold of me. But why I didn’t go? I was uneducated by sin.

12:00 I said, how am I drunk? I want to continue drinking water. If I go to Jesus, I must stop drinking. I must do all this.

12:06 I must become holy, which is not true. Jesus says, come and the light will show you. And he’ll empower you to clean yourself out.

12:14 He’ll empower you. And the blood of Jesus. You call out the blood of Jesus and will wash all the evil things out of our hearts and our minds.

12:21 But we have to look at the word of God. We have to meditate on the Word of God. Brothers and sisters, 1st Peter 2:9.

12:28 This is again 1 Peter 2:9. But you are a chosen race, a holy priest. I’m reading this as a Catholic version.

12:30 But you are a chosen race, a holy priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people, in order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of Him. That is Jesus, who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Can you imagine? Who are we? Those who want
to follow Jesus Christ are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation.

12:56 You know, why were we called? Why were we chosen? In order that we may proclaim the mighty acts of Christ, who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Now that is what we are. We are a chosen race of royal priests.

13:13 Each of us are supposed to be royal priests, called into this marvelous light. Just now I was telling why I didn’t go to Jesus Christ. The thought is, oh, I am drunk, so I must give up drinking.

13:24 I must give up this, I must give up that. No, you go to Jesus Christ. If you want your life changed, you go to Jesus Christ and just as you are, and tell us, lord, make me do the right thing.

13:35 I want you to be my Lord and Savior. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. I submit to you.

13:41 From today, I will be your servant. You make me do, Lord. You make me do.

13:45 I want to follow you. And he will, because you begin to read his word. Meditate on his word.

13:51 And things will change now. But there are people thinking, if you are full of sin, you cannot go to Jesus full of sin. You need to go to Jesus.

13:57 You need to go to Jesus. Please go to Jesus. Please go and look at the Scriptures and let the scriptures divide bone.

14:07 The scriptures, what they do, they divide bone from marrow. Divide bone from marrow, spirit from soul. So the spirit, the soul is affected with sin and all then it’s separated.

14:27 The word of God will separate your spirit from your soul, from your heart, from your mind. So your spirit man can come up and strengthen in the word of God and control your soul, control your heart, control your mind. Can you imagine that’s the word
of God, what the word of God does? The word of God is Jesus Christ.

14:44 You keep meditating on the word of God in that area of your life. That issue is there. Then for instance, if you are blaspheming the name of the Holy Spirit.

14:57 Okay, thank Jesus Christ. Let’s not blaspheme the name of. Let’s not consider blaspheming.

15:01 We consider the grieving. The Holy Spirit, he deals with this grieving, the Holy Spirit. Then you look at the sin, then you look at the fruits of the Holy Spirit and you begin to meditate on it.

15:10 What the word of God will do, what Jesus Christ will do for you, what the spirit of God will do for you will separate spirit from soul. If your heart has caught your spirit man and the heart is the boss now the spirit will be released and the spirit
man, your spirit man, you, you, you are the spirit man will release and your spirit man will become strong. And your spirit man will then become the boss of the heart.

15:30 That is what God wants. He wants you, you are a spirit being to control your heart. Earlier, because our spirit was dead in sin, our heart was controlling our plan spirit.

15:40 Because the dead insane. Now the spirit man has been washed by the blood of Jesus Christ. And the word of Jesus Christ releases your spirit.

15:47 And your spirit man is you. And you now control the heart and mind. And you have self control.

15:50 And you have the fruit of the spirit. You look at the fruit of the spirit. Brothers and sisters, today remember you are a royal priest.

15:58 You have been called into marvelous light. Now those people who do not want to follow the word of God, you know, they want to keep their sin. They have to keep their darkness.

16:07 Nothing you can do because you are just a human being. I am just a human being. We are not dictators.

16:12 We cannot force them. If we can tell them the word of God, if they walk away, they are not walking away from you. Don’t get personal about this.

16:18 They are walking away from the word of God. Brothers and sisters, today remember that in Jesus Christ’s name there is light. There is light and he is the light of the world.

16:28 So many human beings and many cultures will just light, light, their physical light and all that. They think that’s the light of the world. No, that’s not going to solve their problem.

16:37 Only Jesus Christ, the light of the world, the light of man, can solve you. But they do not go to. Many won’t go to Jesus Christ because they want to keep their darkness.

16:45 They want to keep their sin. And that is what the Bible says. And when you say all these people get upset.

16:51 Do not, do not do that. Do not throw pearls to swine because they turn around and tear you to pieces. Remember this in the name of Jesus Christ today, brothers and sisters, Amen.
