22 But the fruit that the Spirit produces in a person’s life is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these kinds of things.
3 In the same way, you wives should be willing to serve your husbands. Then, even those who have refused to accept God’s teaching
will be persuaded to believe because of the way you live. You will not need to say anything.
26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all
4 Or do you have no regard for the wealth of His kindness and tolerance and patience [in withholding His wrath]? Are you [actually]
unaware or ignorant [of the fact] that God’s kindness leads you to repentance [that is, to change your inner self, your old way of thinking—seek His purpose for your life]?

5 Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith
and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves
Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience]
that Jesus Christ is in you—unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected?
