35 Pilate answered, “I am not a Jew, am I? Your own people and

36 Jesus replied, “My kingdom is not of this world
[nor does it have its origin in this world]. If My kingdom were of this world,
My servants would be fighting [hard] to keep Me from being handed over
to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this world.”
37 So Pilate said to Him, “Then You are a King?” Jesus answered,

22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
James 4:6 New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (NRSVCE)
6 But he gives all the more grace; therefore it says,
5 Examine and test and evaluat

3 For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
2 Those who think they know something do not yet know anything as they should.
26 He said to him, “What is written in the law? What do you read there?”

and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”
28 And he said to him, “You have given the right answer; do this, and you will live.”
