00:27 Sincerely wrong in the work of God. You know, this thing when we were first born again, or first we accepted Jesus Christ. When I first accepted Jesus Christ, of course there’s an eagerness inside our spirit, inside
my spirit, inside my heart to do work for God.

00:45 The work of God. Work for God, you know, and this is what every one of you would have felt when you felt Jesus settled you could peace, peace healed you or something, done something, and you sensed it, you realized
it, and you accepted Jesus as your Lord and master. And there’s a peace that come upon you, a peace that’s come upon you.

01:06 And you couldn’t understand that peace. But you treasured the peace. You needed the peace.

01:10 You really, after settling down in that, in a few days, after a couple of weeks, you want to do something. You want to do something for God. And sadly, sadly, not a single church, not a single pastor, not a single
servant.

01:27 And they will come and they’ll claim to be apostles or prophets and not so many books I read and so many preachings I’ve heard in the cassette tapes and all I never came across what is the real work of God. Only a
couple of years later, there was a stress in my soul. Because what they will tell you many times is, okay, come and arrange the chairs in the church or something, or even wash the toilets.

01:57 And we were quite happy. Why? Because we felt good. Our human nature.

02:03 If something wants to do something good because why that’s nature, that somebody has done something good for you. God has done something good for you. Even a human being has done something good for you.

02:12 You want to return that thing. You want to do something, you want to do something for them, that’s normal. But what has happened is people may be sincere, but they are sincerely wrong.

02:23 Because the only truth is God’s word. So sincerely wrong. So they tell you, okay, you are now born again.

02:29 Now declare to people. That’s very good, you declare to people, but that is not the work of God. The work of God will come to that the scriptures, later.

02:38 That is why I always say, whenever somebody tells you, including me, check for the scriptures. Therefore, please, brothers and sisters, ask for the scriptures, ask for the email. And every time I say something,
there will be a Scripture supporting that without scripture support, do not follow.

02:58 Because we are human beings, we make errors. So that is why every day, whenever I do the power of Christ daily, I will back it up with scriptures. If not, I will not speak authoritatively on that.

03:11 I may say this is my opinion or my feeling, or this is what I’ve done, or this is what I did, or somebody said this, I may say that. But when I say God said it, means this is it. This is what we supposed to do.

03:23 There must be scripture backing. No going by just feelings now. So we’ll go and give track, okay, this is your work.

03:32 Go and give track or usher. Make sure your cars are coming and parked properly or whatever, all that. And after a while, the human nature when we begin to do this, particularly we do something that others don’t want
to do, like wash toilet or whatever, and we feel good.

03:46 Wash toilet and we feel good. We are doing for God. We are doing for God.

03:48 We are doing for God. And then there are others who will come and ask for money or something, and we give them the money. That time we may not hardly have ourselves, but we give because we feel we are doing the work
of God.

04:02 And that’s when the devil also sends people to steal money from you. And you end up giving money to wrong people who are pretending to volunteerize. So all this will take place.

04:13 Now, one of the questions you have to ask is anybody, any church you are attending to or pastors or whatever, you have to ask this question, what is the work of God? And if they do not know, they may be sincere. If
they do not know, then you know they do not know. You have to tell them this.

04:36 And at the same time you have to question yourself whether you will actually grow, whether you grow in the Lord. Because if you do not know this, that’s very hard to grow. Now, in John 6:29, it’s very clear.

04:49 Today I’m reading from several translations. Why? First, I’m reading from the Calic translation. I’m reading from the easy reader.

04:56 After that, and then amplified, because it’s an important issue. Now, the first one, John 6:29 in the Catholic translation, says Jesus answered them because people asked them, now that we are saved, now what we do,
what we do? We want to do the work of God. We want to do the work of God.

05:13 They are asking in 28, they are asking, we want to do the work of God. What is the work of God? What is the work of God? And Jesus Christ answered them in 29, this is the work of God that you believe in him whom he
has sent. You believe in him whom he has sent.

05:31 This is the work of God. Believe in him whom he has sent. Whom did God send? Jesus Christ.

05:38 Believing in Jesus Christ. Now, easy read translation, same thing. They were asking, what do we do? We want to do the work of God.

05:44 We want to do the work of God. We want to do the work of God. What do we do? They are asking Jesus Christ, remember? And Jesus answered them in the easy read.

05:55 The work God wants you to do is this to believe in the One he sent. The work God wants you to do is this to believe in the One he sent. Now take an amplified version because this gives the shades of meanings that
was originally written in the Greek amplified.

06:23 Jesus replied, of course. They ask him, what is the work of God? We want to do the work of God. What is the work of God? In 29 he replies, this is the work, the service that God asks of you.

06:36 This is the work, the service that God asks of you. That you believe in the One whom He has sent. That you cleave to his.

06:47 Him. Trust in Him. Rely on him and have faith in his messenger.

06:55 Rely on the faith and faith in the messenger. You declare to Jesus Christ. Trusting in Jesus Christ.

07:01 Relying on Jesus Christ. And faith in Jesus Christ is what actually is the work of God. This is, of course, human nature.

07:09 Begin to understand. Confusing for us. Why? Because it’s a spiritual thing.

07:15 That is why God said, your ways are not my ways. Lean not on your own understanding. His understanding is far, far, far higher.

07:24 Infinitely higher. So when he says, this is the work of God, we better take it for gospel truth. That is the work of God.

07:30 And after all, it’s still the gospel. Now, the work of God is to believe in Jesus Christ, to trust in him, to cling on to him, to rely on him, to have faith in him, to cleave to Him. Cleave to Him.

07:42 Why? He is the husband of our soul. So cleave to him. Husband of our flesh, wife of our flesh.

07:47 Husband and wife. Cleave in the flesh. Doesn’t cleave in the Spirit.

07:51 Now my human understanding will be, must do physical work. Must do something. Must physically must do something.

07:59 Here God is saying, I am Spirit. The work of God is believing in God. The work of God is believing in Jesus Christ.

08:06 Whom, Father, God has sent. Father, Father, Father. God has sent Father.

08:09 God has sent his only Begotten Son. Why is God’s only begotten Son? Because the Word of God was in God. Was in God.

08:22 Is in God, right? Word of God was in God. So the word of God came out of God. The Word of God came out of God and took the form of a man.

08:32 Took the form of a man. Now, since the Word of God came out of God, it was begotten out of God and became the form of a man. And it became his name is Immanuel.

08:43 God with us. Jesus Christ. What a wonderful thing.

08:49 Now, so God is spirit. His work is in spirit. Now, what is the work of God? Believing in him.

08:57 Now, if you believe in Jesus Christ, truly you will love him. You will love him. If you believe in Jesus Christ, you will love him.

09:07 Now if you love him. Now, a lot of people telling me, no, I love God, I love Jesus. I used to listen to all these, I love God, I love him, I love Jesus and all.

09:18 And then they’ll be doing some ridiculous things, sad things. I love Jesus. But you know what love is? True Love is John 5:3:1 John 5:3.

09:33 In Amplified version, it says this for the true love of God. Is this for the true love of God Is this. That we do his commands, keep his ordinances and mindful of his precepts and teachings, not just think our own
ways.

09:51 His precepts, the concepts, what he’s telling us and his teachings. Keeping his commandments means keep this, the love of God. If you truly love God, God said, my true love for me is this.

10:04 You love me truly means you keep my commandments. Must you do my commandments. Doer of the Word, do my commandments, Keep his ordinances.

10:12 Keep my ordinances. Be mindful of my teaching and my precepts. And these orders of his are not irksome, burdensome, oppressive or grievous.

10:23 Grievous. They are not hard grieving or hard grieving. And do.

10:28 He said, these orders, these commands I give you are not burdensome, are not oppressive, doesn’t oppress you. It actually liberates us. It sets us free because we got power in Christ and we are set free.

10:40 And it is not grievous. Now, that is why the test that you have to ask wherever, whichever church you are in, whichever congregation you are in now, remember, when you ask them the test, when you are leaders, you
ask the leaders, the servants, apostles, or whatever they call themselves, pastors, they can call anything they want. Sometimes human nature, there are a lot of false prophets and false prophets and apostles
pretending to be servants of God.

11:11 So we have seen this. I’ve seen this. Enough of this.

11:14 So now you have to ask this question. If you are sincere. Now first, before that, what is the highest commandment? You have to ask this.

11:25 If you ask somebody, a Christian who claims to be a Christian, who says Christian. Now remember, when you ask this question and they answer wrongly, they may be sincere, but sincerely wrong. They may not be able to
cheat you.

11:38 They may not. I better make it clear. They may not be wicked, they may not be bad, they may not be misleading you, but that’s all they know.

11:49 So you feel sorry for them and open their eyes to these scriptures. Quote the scriptures, but before that you learn. You read the scriptures this way, that way.

11:59 Better to read the whole of book of John 6, chapter 6. You better read the whole thing and get a bigger precept concept. We only got 15 minutes here to resolve things.

12:10 Now when you ask this question, when they answer wrongly or didn’t want to answer, then you’re also looking in the spirit if they’re angry with you for asking this question. But humble yourself and ask. When you ask
the question, ask in humbleness.

12:23 What brothers and sisters? Ask in humbleness, not ask I know, I know type you know, I know. Now I prove to you, I know more than you. I am in this church and you are so deacon or whatever.

12:34 So I’ll ask this question to test you. You do all that. It’s sin.

12:38 Humble yourself. You’re asking to teach them or asking for your own self to know whether what they are teaching is correct or not, so that you can work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. So the question
is first, what is the highest commandment of God? Many struggle to answer that simple question.

13:00 You know sad. The highest commandment of God is love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. Many Christians struggle.

13:09 Then we ask them, what is the second highest commandment of God? The second highest commandment of God. Many will be struggling, struggling, struggling. But some who answered may answer, love your neighbor as
yourself.

13:25 Okay, we can accept that because that’s what Jesus said. And many do not even know this. But more importantly, if you are a Christian, a follower of Christ, your second higher commandment is actually love one
another as I have loved you.

13:43 Jesus says, I give you a new command. Love one another as I have loved you. And then of course, the rest of the world, you love your neighbour as yourself.

13:53 Now these three people will be struggling. Now if you want to ask what is the work of God? 99.9% won’t know.

14:02 They’ll tell you. Declare the gospel, declare the gospel, will go and tract. You know, I did all this.

14:08 I’LL go and tract because they told me to do that. They told me to do physical things. And I led in my own heart.

14:14 Fallen nature heart and doing work. It seems finally God opened my eyes to say, this is all wrong. First you believe in the One whom He sent.

14:23 Believe in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. So whatever Jesus says, if the wall is black, it is black. That’s it for me.

14:31 And then when you’re believing in the One whom He sent, believing in Jesus Christ, trusting in him, cleaning to him in the spirit, you’re doing work. You’re doing work. Because 28 people ask, what work shall we do
now? What is the work of God we want to do? We want to do? This is the work of God.

14:46 Jesus replied, believe in the One whom He sent. Cleave to Him. Trust him.

14:50 Rely on Him. Have faith in Him. Faith in his faith.

14:55 Oh, wonderful day, brothers and sisters. And then to love God means to willing the One. Later God teach me willing to give his commandment.

15:05 He will settle you. He will make you work. He will make you do this.

15:08 Willing to keep his commandments. Willing. You know, because our heart, my heart was so terrible.

15:14 Not willing to keep his commandments. No, no. Not wanting to do his commandment.

15:18 But finally in my heart, I knew I have to willing My spirit man must rise up and make my heart willing. I am willing, Lord, because the world cannot settle me. Only you.

15:28 Once you begin to be willing, that so can be commanded. In the name of Jesus Christ, I command my heart and mind to be willing to obey God in all things, to obey Jesus Christ in all things. In the name of Jesus
Christ, I command my heart and mind to obey, to cleave to Jesus Christ, to trust in Jesus Christ, to rel on Jesus Christ, to have faith in the faith of Jesus Christ.

15:31 In the name of Jesus Christ, I command this again and again and again until it becomes natural, the supernatural become natural. Brothers and sisters, today I pray this for all of us. Amen.
