Are You Using or Losing Your Sound Mind – 2 Timothy 1:7

00:00 Praise Jesus Christ. Praise Jesus Christ indeed. This is absolutely critical. Critical, critical.

00:07 I cannot repeat enough of this criticality of this sound mind matter. Sound mind. Now, second Timothy 1:7 clearly says, For God has not given us a spirit of fear, so fear is a spirit, but of power, power.

00:23 He’s given us power, those who accept him as Lord, Saviour, God and Master. He gives us power to be sons of God. Now, of course we have to use the power.

00:33 All these have been taught and of love and of a sound mind. So sound mind comes from love and of love and of sound mind. So he gives us power, use the power and then we have love.

00:47 Because use of power and walk in love and then that love. From that we have sound mind. So we, without using the power of Jesus Christ, the name of Jesus Christ, we can’t have the love because we have fallen nature.

01:00 When you accepted Jesus Christ, Lord, Savior, God and Master, you are given power to be sons of God. And then when we use the power, we can walk in love because love has come in. And then we have a sound mind.

01:15 This is how the sequence of the scripture is written now. So let us look at this. Now, I’m not what you call.

01:22 I’m not condemning anybody here, so don’t take condemnation. You remember this, there’s now no condemnation for those who are in Christ who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. When you walk
according to the Spirit, you have no condemnation.

01:40 But if you walk according to the flesh, there will be condemnation because flesh is carnal. Now, what is walking according to the spirit? Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humbleness,
self control. So when you walk according to the spirit, you will have sound mind.

01:55 So the sound mind, if it’s missing and you’re making errors, I’ve. Now, over the years I’ve suffered this because sound mind was not applied and got into trouble. Then Jesus Christ in his infinite mercy picks me up
because when I repent, it turns around, it turns the circumstances back in my favour.

02:18 But I’ve lost favour like that. Stolen. So now let’s first look at the sound mind being stolen in two ways.

02:25 One is spiritual causes. Spiritual causes. Then we look at the physical causes.

02:31 Now, as I’ve taught you all before, by the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ, there are huge ministries like Pastor Henry Wright, who has gone home to the Lord, that he collected doctors, Christian doctors, and made
studies over the 30 years and found that a lot of diseases are caused by spiritual roots, by disobeying, breaking God’s laws, I used to tell this from the beginning when I know in the Spirit you break God’s laws,
God’s laws will break you. Because breaking God’s laws will destruction. So now it has happened to me.

03:02 So before Christ, yes, I was heathen, pagan, antichrist and all that. But after Christ, without knowing scripture, without applying scripture, making decisions have caused me some issues. But Jesus in infinite mercy
when I cry out to him settles us.

03:18 So first, spiritual causes. Spiritual causes are why sound mind will be stolen step by step when you have self seeking. When you have self seeking, sound mind will definitely be stolen step by step.

03:34 No question about it. Because when you have self seeking, James 3:16 confusion and every evil thing will be there. Every evil thing, including demons, devils will be there.

03:47 They will steal it, steal your sound mind. So better check, is there self seeking? Is there self seeking? When you’re not, when you’re getting in trouble? When you’re getting in trouble, Check whether you have
applied sound mind. Examine yourself.

03:59 God says the word of God clear. Examine yourself daily. Examine yourself.

04:04 Every decision, turn to Christ. Turn to Christ means how do you turn? Turn to the word of God. The word of God is Jesus Christ.

04:12 So you don’t turn and seek the scriptures, seek the scriptures, the word of God to make the decision. Then you will not be applying sound mind because you’ll be applying your self seeking what your heart wants. Then
that will cause a lot of problems.

04:26 All of us know this. Please, please practice every day when I went and command your heart and mind in the name of Jesus Christ. I command my heart and mind to turn to scripture.

04:38 Turn to the word of God before making any extraordinary decisions. Ordinary decisions are okay, you’re eating this, eating that, even that. You are led by the Spirit of God because you want to bring your body to
subjection to the word of God.

04:54 So you want to constrain your body, just doing whatever it wants. So you are training your body, disciplining your body. So for that you are still walking in the spirit, talking to God.

05:04 What do I eat? Everything. Ask him and you are settled in the spirit peace to do something. Then do no peace.

05:12 Don’t do now. So what is the physical cause? Physical cause is, you know, God of this world is Satan and it confuses the whole world. The whole world is under the sway.

05:25 But we’re not of this world while we are in the world. When you walk according to the spirit, you are in the world, but not of this world. But you have to walk according to the Spirit of God.

05:35 There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk according to the spirit and not according to the flesh. So now so we are in the world, but not of this world. But remember this, the body
belongs to the earth.

05:51 So physical. The body is physical. So what Satan does, he destroys the body by what the air Polluted Air Polluted.

06:00 Water. A lot of water has been polluted. How the petroleum fumes coming from cars and vehicles itself creates a fake estrogenic action in the body.

06:13 So hormonal imbalance. Hormonal imbalance in the body will cause also sound mind to go. Brain fog to come in.

06:22 Brain fog. Because hormonal imbalance. So when you’re having brain fog, you’re unable to think properly.

06:29 It has happened to me. So I’m not condemning anybody here. But I’m warning you, please wake up from this.

06:34 You have to take action. So if hormonal imbalance, then you have to detox and you maybe ever go fasting if necessary for the body to be cleansed out. And also start taking herbs.

06:46 Herbs. There are reasonably priced herbs. You can search hormonal balance for women, for men there are hormonal balance herbs.

06:55 I don’t tell the brands here and all. Please go and search. There are reasonably priced herbs from India and all.

07:17 You can use the herbs but get the solution done. Hormonal imbalance has to be settled, otherwise the brain fog won’t go. Because the hormonal imbalance has caused cause the brain fog.

07:29 Your sound mind is no more there. You’re thinking wrongly, maybe fatigue, you’re tired, you don’t have sound mind. So please examine yourself.

07:38 Are you applying sound mind? And if you’re not applying sound mind, is it because of self seeking or is because of physical problems? So please turn to Christ. Seek the word of God. If anybody is still wanting some
