REPENTING Alone IS NOT Enough, To Receive Times of Refreshing From JESUS CHRIST – Acts 3:19

00:00 Praise Jesus Christ. Praise Jesus Christ. Indeed. Over the years, I see people see they’re Christians and they repented and all that.

00:08 They repented, they’ll say, and then they’ll fall into the same thing or do the same thing very often. And then they say, I repented, I repented. So no need to correct.

00:17 Don’t correct. Repented already. I wonder, why are they struggling like this? Why are they struggling like this? I know what happened when I repented.

00:27 I don’t want to go back to that way. So did I practice sin after that? No. Did I fall into some anger and all? Yes.

00:34 But the foundational sins like adultery, drunkenness, violence, actual violence, cursing, swear words and all, all that stopped, stopped. I was not practicing a single. I didn’t go and fall into one or so by mercy
and grace of Jesus Christ, because I call on blood of Jesus, blood of Jesus, blood of Jesus, and then that’s it.

00:53 It’ll go. The attacks will come, it will go. But then there are people who keep on saying, I repented, I repented.

01:00 And literally some are telling, I repented. So you don’t check me, don’t question me on this. These are past sins.

01:06 Don’t go and look at that. But what does the Word of God say? Therefore? The first thing is, everybody who wants to be a Christian have to agree that they want to follow the Word of God. And the Word of God is Jesus
Christ.

01:18 If anybody does not accept the Word of God as final, as complete, then there’s nothing to counsel. Because counsel can only be given from the Word of God. And the Word of God is very clear.

01:31 In fact, there’s safety in the counsel of many godly counsel of many people who do not want anything from you. But they are godly counseling you, hey, this is wrong. They don’t do this way.

01:40 This will suffer. We have suffered before. You don’t do all that.

01:43 And then when they’re saying all that is because for your sake. So if anybody telling you counseling from the word of God and they’re not expecting anything from you, they’re spending their time and energy and money
even, and leaving their families or their work or whatever to settle you, then you better understand these people must understand their actual, true servants. So what does the scripture say? I’m just taking one
scripture first, and that’s Acts 3:19.

02:09 3:19 in the new King James say, repent, therefore, and. And be converted, comma, that your sins may be blotted out. So when are the sins being blotted out? When they repent.

02:26 And are converted. Not just repent and are converted. Only then sins are blotted out so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.

02:39 So when does the refreshing edification come? When they repent and are converted. Without the conversion, there won’t be refreshing coming from the Lord. Times of refreshing won’t come.

02:51 That’s why they’re struggling. There’s no times of refreshing in them. They repent.

02:56 They say they repent by their mouth and all that, but they keep on doing this because they’re not converted. So let’s read in amplified, more extended statement. So repent.

03:07 And he says, bracket, change your inner self. Change, you know, so by the blood of Jesus Christ, name of Jesus Christ, you can change your inner self. The old way of thinking must go.

03:15 The old way of thinking is, I’m not perfect, so I fall into sin. You know, I, you know, I sin also. It’s okay because I fall into sin and all.

03:25 I’m not perfect. That’s old way of thinking. No, not true.

03:29 You’re perfected by the blood of Jesus Christ. You will not practice sinning. Can you fall into sin? Yeah, but you’ll fall into maybe new sins, not the same sin again and again and again.

03:40 You fall from time to time and say, I’m, I’m. You know, I’m not perfect. So fall.

03:45 No, that is practicing sin. You’re following the same sin, so called falling the same sin again, again, again means God’s word says, that’s practicing sin. And very clearly he is saying in the scriptures, born of
the devil.

03:59 Those who are born of the devil and born of God are easily seen. He says, manifest. Those born of the devil are practicing sin.

04:05 Those born of God will not practice sin. Will they fall? Yes, but they will not be doing the same sin on and on and on, saying that, you know, I repented and all that. There is no conversion.

04:20 Also here he says, repent, slow, repent, bracket. Change your inner self. Inner self must change inside must change.

04:29 Your old way of thinking must go regretting past sins. You must regret the past sins. You must hate the sin.

04:38 God’s word is clear. You must hate the sin. If you do not hate the sin, you are not going to.

04:43 You are not regretting the sin. I hated what I did to my family. I hated that I was adulterer.

04:48 I hated that I was violent. I wet people. And then after that, regret, I hated that I was a drunkard.

04:57 I hated foul mouth suddenly start talking terrible words. I hated once I become born again. In fact, before born again.

05:05 I couldn’t stop. I couldn’t stop. It was happening.

05:08 I was demonized. I couldn’t. I want to stop telling bad verses of cannot.

05:10 I want to stop whacking people. Irritate little bit. Only whack people.

05:16 So I know what happened to me then when Jesus came, I knew I was terrible, terrible thing. And I got power. Blood of Jesus, Blood of Jesus.

05:23 Blood of Jesus. I start calling. Even before the temptation comes.

05:28 We start calling. Why? From your heart comes all this. And from the abundance of your heart.

05:35 Mouth speaks and we’ll know. Those who are counseling will know when you speak certain things. They know what is in your heart.

05:42 You should know what’s coming out of your mouth. You must know what is in your heart. Because God says, from the abundance of your heart, the mouth speaks.

05:49 So the mouth speak already you know, hey, this is my heart. And we know our hearts are treacherously wicked. Treacherously wicked.

05:58 And then converted means return to God. That means you want to just obey God. You want to seek his purpose for your life.

06:05 You are seeking his purpose. And what’s the purpose? Reconciling man to God. Everyone has got a ministry written scripture reconciling man to God.

06:15 There are so many other teachings there in the power of Christ daily. That is your ministry. Every one of us.

06:21 We are ambassadors of Christ. We are aliens on earth. We are pilgrims.

06:26 Citizenship is in heaven. And our will of God for us as ministry of reconciliation. Reconciling man to God.

06:36 So then he says what? Seek his purpose so that your sins may be wiped away, blotted out, completely erased. So when are they going to be erased? According to the extension in the amplified taken from this
concordance and all that. It’s when you turn away and want to do what God’s purpose for your life is.

06:58 And then your sins may be wiped away. Brought that out. So when our sins have been wiped away on repentance.

07:05 No, repentance is starting point. When you turn to God and say a purpose in my heart. I want to obey you.

07:10 I want to do your work. And you start doing Converted. The word in the new King James converted.

07:18 That means you are doing already you are converted. I will do this and start moving. Then your sins are wiped away.

07:23 Brought that out completely erased. So that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord restoring you like a cool. Restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day.

07:35 Bracket. That’s what amplified says. So when does refreshing come? Refreshing comes when you have repented and turned away and decided to Follow Jesus and begin to obey his commandments and you start doing his
commandments, then the refreshing comes.

07:52 Only that of sins are blotted away. But just by saying I repent, I repent doesn’t mean anything. And the devil knows that.

07:57 And the devil is the enemy. Do not give the devil a foothold. When you give a foothold, he comes to steal, kill and destroy.

08:05 So the people’s life are messed up. I see some of them and then they say, I repented, I repented. But look at the word of God, it’s clear.

08:13 But if they don’t want to listen to the word of God, God already said, lean not on your own understanding. And every word of God is life for us. So if they do not want to have the word of God, then nothing anyone
can do.

08:26 So those who are counselling others say if they don’t listen to the word of God, you are not a policeman, you are not the jail warrior. You have to leave because you don’t really what you want to do. They don’t
listen to God Almighty himself, the word of God.

08:37 So please remember this. Spending alone is not enough to get the times of refreshing from the Lord Jesus Christ. You need to be converted.

08:46 Converted means you need to look at Jesus Christ. I want to obey his Word and the Word of God. You want to obey every word of God.

08:52 Of course you can fall in obedience, but you do not practice sin at the same time. You want the refreshing from the Lord Jesus Christ and you want to cast out the devil in Jesus name. Mark 16:17.

09:04 These signs will follow those who believe. They will cast out devils and demons in my name. And then what? You will be what? Wanting to do the will of God.

09:12 That is reconciling ministry, reconciling man to God. And then you begin to do all that. And then, then refreshing will come from the Lord Jesus Christ.

09:22 Amen.
