00:15 Christ seeking gives great life. Brothers and sisters, I too was self seeking before and it caused me a lot of distraction. Now first of all, remember this in James 3:16, James 3:16, I’m reading from the King James new King James Version.

00:35 For where envy and self seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. Where envy and self seeking exist, James 3:16, confusion and every evil thing are there. Now remember Jesus Christ was selfless in Philippians 2, 8, 10 we have seen he
humbled himself even to the dying time.

00:59 Also he humbled himself to obey. Nothing about him. It’s about us because he loves us.

01:04 Now, brothers and sisters, I’ve seen this. Self destruction is a very big term I’ve used. Very dangerous, very alarming term.

01:12 I’m going to discuss some cases, some issues over the years I’ve seen. Now some Bibles will say selfish ambition. Selfish ambition, yeah, it means the same.

01:24 But many people don’t get it. Why I am not ambition. Take a house.

01:28 Homemaker, housewife they call it. Homemaker. I am not ambitious.

01:34 And so self selfish ambition, it doesn’t happen to me. But self seeking is actually self seeking is this. It’s about you and your child, your family may be and your husband, your child, not so these in various aspects.

01:49 For instance, a homemaker is. Whenever you’re doing something, it’s only about you. I need to do this, I need to do that.

01:57 Or you’ll tell your this is how it should be done. Because I like it this way. This is how.

02:01 This is how. You won’t say I like it that way, but actually that’s what it means. This is how.

02:06 This is how it’s done. And envy. Envy means they have that I must have this.

02:12 I don’t have this. They have a better kitchen. I don’t have the better kitchen.

02:16 I need a ghetto kitchen. And then I must have it this way. And then you manipulate your husband or talk to him in such a way you know that it’s really needed and all that whatever.

02:26 And all this is envy and self seeking. It’s about self, how you want it. Where there exists confusion and every evil thing are there.

02:35 Every evil thing means all the demons already there. All the demons are there and they finally destroy you. God seeking Christ seeking his great life.

02:45 So people say, what nonsense is this? For instance, in work. No, everything I must have, I must have. I must excel.

02:54 I forget about these people, forget about my friend or neighbor, whatever. I must excel. So I won’t tell them this, I will tell them this way.

03:01 And then you begin to manipulate because why you want that promotion and you want the promotion, why somebody else got a promotion? And what happens, you know, confusion comes confusion. When I talk to these people, you’ll find the answers don’t
make sense. When you ask, when I’m counseling, when I ask some question, the answers even for the normal, sound mind, normal person also it doesn’t make sense, unbeliever.

03:23 Also it won’t make sense. It’ll be Confucian. No, they tell you one thing here and then tomorrow, later within the same council, they tell you something else.

03:30 They are in confusion because every evil thing already there. Why self seeking exists. So you take for instance a single, a single girl once married, oh, she will do selfie this way, self did that way.

03:44 Selfies, you know, selfies, they forget when they’re not taking the selfies. Because selfie you can put on the first front, fantastic picture, you can put for yourself within a great great green, painted your face properly or whatever nicely painted
up and oh, selfie this way, that way. But when you’re sitting quietly in the car and you’re not doing this, when people look into your car, then when they see you, you’re now in your own mind, you do some rubbish.

04:07 People think they are in the car, people nobody can see inside, they will be digging their nose or something, you know. So now and then this same girl dress up this way, all self to the extent when supposing they are going to a party, oh, they want
to make sure that her friend, they may be good friends and the two girls, but she’s a boy, she wants a boy. They don’t care about the friend.

04:30 No, I want, I want Destruction finally comes. Destruction. No, terrible destruction.

04:36 Confusion also will be there. And then they begin to tell something to lie and all that. Why confusion has come.

04:42 Every evil thing has come to have great life, you must be God seeking selfless. Selfish is different from self seeking. Selfish is you have something you don’t want to share, you don’t want to share, you want to keep yourself, you don’t want to tell
people you have it.

04:56 And whatever you can do and do not do is sin, by the way. So as a pastor and a servant of God, if I have something, I can tell people, even outside people who are not Christians, if I can do something for them and I don’t do it is sin. So I must do
so.

05:12 What you can do and do not do is sin. So praise Jesus Christ of Nazareth for that command. Now every command of God is for our sake, to improve us, to settle us.

05:21 God clearly said this is a fantastic command. Understanding self seeking and envy means confusion. Every evil thing is there and we can get out.

05:30 We can start commanding our heart and mind, examining ourselves in every circumstance. For instance, let’s say a widow or a single woman, that girl got a good husband, that girl got a husband, I want a husband, I want a husband. And then in the self
seeking mode, envy will come.

05:48 Envira that one, that woman got a good husband, I don’t have, you know. And then same thing, widows, same thing. Self seeking, self seeking.

05:57 Confucian there all the time. Confucian. And every evil thing.

06:00 And whenever people are self seeking, I see they actually are ungrateful. Also very ungrateful. They don’t themselves know because they’re captive, they’re already captured by the devil.

06:12 Because every evil thing has come captured by the devil. So they’ll talk to you as they talk to you in guile and deception. They’ll put on a front and hello pastor, how are you? This and that not true.

06:22 And then they actually hello brother, how are you? Hello sister, how are you? You know, brother or sister, you didn’t do this for me. I was waiting, you know, I needed it and all. But you check the self seeking people, they’ll never do anything for
anybody else.

06:35 And whenever they do something for somebody else, there will be some self seeking there. I have seen women, you know, who, when supposing somebody coming to the house and one particular boy, brother or sister coming into the house, they’ll do some
special dish, why they want to impress that particular sister. So they cook.

06:56 That woman cooks, that girl cooks a better dish. Because impressed a girl or want to impress a boy or whatever. Self seeking in many ways it will come.

07:04 So it is for you as a child of God to know God, your father God, son of the living God, the husband of your soul already said envy and self seeking is going to destroy you. Confusion will be there. And confusion no.

07:17 Oh, when they’re coming, they keep quiet. They won’t say, but they’ll be acting uncertain, confusionly, saying things wrongly. And then anybody say no, no, no, we’ll be rushing to do something.

07:27 Why confusion has taken place. Every evil thing, they can’t even see. Everybody can see already everybody can see this.

07:35 Every evil thing has come. Self seeking is there. Very ugly spirit is there.

07:40 They themselves cannot see. And what we do, we must pity them. But at the same time we cannot encourage self seeking envy.

07:46 I’ll have to put a stop and say look here, I cannot do this for you. And when self seeking, you know, my child, oh yo, you all didn’t do anything. Nobody did anything for me, no.

07:56 And then you check a list would have been done for them. They never, they are ungrateful, they wouldn’t check that. But they’ll say no, I waited, no.

08:04 And then they didn’t do for me. They won’t think so much this person has done for me. So much they’ve done for me.

08:11 They didn’t do this for me. Maybe they are struggling, maybe they’re not well. Maybe they got so many things to do.

08:17 No, they don’t come to them because evil things have captured them. They only think they didn’t do for me. They didn’t do for me.

08:23 They didn’t do for me. My doctor. Wow.

08:27 Maybe that person, the pastor, the brother, the sister maybe couldn’t do today. Let me call and find out. Are they all right? Are they all right? Can I do something to settle you? No, it will never come because self seeking is so rooted inside that
you’ll never think of that other person suffering, you know? And many times the godly person will be suffering and you won’t know.

08:47 They’ll just do for you. They’ll be suffering but they’ll do for you. Why? They are disciples of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

08:54 They love Jesus Christ and their heart is surrendered to Jesus Christ and they want to please Jesus Christ. So they’re suffering, they will get up and do. But you self seeking soul, oh, they never do for me.

09:07 And they do something, they must be doing something for somebody else. They are doing somebody else, but not for me. Ungratefulness come.

09:15 Unthankfulness will come and destroy them. Now in places they sell mlm. I’ve sold the MLM before now what to do, how to sell this thing, how to sell this thing, how to get this thing.

09:27 I must get this money to buy. Not besides thinking I must sell this, I must finish my quota not thinking whether this person buys and then will they have enough money, will they suffer after that? Maybe you have convinced them so well because your
logic is so good or whatever and they put in money and that send out the money for the month for them to. They’re sacrificing for something else.

09:47 Sacrificing from some other budget. Don’t want to think, you know, just want to push the product. Self seeking and envy why? Oh, other fellow did better already.

09:57 I must do better. I must do better. Envy, confusion, every evil thing is there.

10:02 Self destruction is round the corner. Round the corner. I have seen this repeatedly.

10:06 Self destruction coming. Sure. Come, there’s no escape because it is God’s word.

10:12 Every evil thing out there means it’s destroying you already. Destroying you already. It’s finished now.

10:21 Self seeking ministry. Oh, I want more people in this church. I want more people in this church.

10:27 You see, the other church, plenty of people, more church. So I will do this, I will do that. Not one stopping to think.

10:34 What does the husband of your soul, your lord and master, to whom you have declared to be a servant unto? What does he want? Does he want you to compete with the other church? Or does he want you to do the right thing? For one soul, just one soul
for God is worth more than the whole world. He told us. What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Lose his own soul.

10:55 What does it profit a man? So why wouldn’t you? For God, he said, look here, son, one soul. Dharma is early days, you know. I already know.

11:09 God said, look, yes, I am one soul. I’m telling you, not even worth the whole world. It’s more than that, it’s worth.

11:17 So what would you do as a servant? Seek the soul, settle the soul. But no comparing. Comparing.

11:24 Envy, self seeking, self seeking, destruction. And these people with self seeking, they never improve. Why? Something will grow.

11:33 They’ll keep on taking from people. I call them those days before born again. There are two kinds of people.

11:38 I will say, I say there are two before born again. Two kinds of people. One the takers and the other one the givers.

11:44 The people who give. And there are people who just take and take and take and take. Never give.

11:51 Never even think of giving. Can you imagine why self seeking, envy, the confusion, every evil thing, it’s all about them. That is why forever their life is not changing forever their life is mess.

12:03 And for their life forever they’ll be complaining. I have nothing, I’m suffering. The more they come, I’m suffering, I have nothing.

12:10 Then nobody helps me, you know, nobody helps me. You know, the more destruction and more destruction. And this goes on in a cycle, goes on one cycle all the time.

12:19 Brothers and sisters, self seeking and envy is a terrible thing you have to examine because it’s destruction, self destruction. You don’t want to be destroyed. I’m sure you’re listening to this now.

12:31 The problem is I’ve not all the idiots I was in churches. I never learned this from them, you know, I never learned people, they might have read this scripture in passing, but not drilled into us. Hey, self seeking will kill you.

12:45 Envy and self seeking confusion. Every evil thing is there. Whenever people are confused, immediately servants, pastors, check.

12:51 Whenever people making sentences, statements to you that are not logical, not reasonable, not reasonable, immediately seeing where is the self seeking? Where is the envy? You check, you will find it, because God will show you. And then you tell the
brother or sister, brother, sister, your problem is self seeking and envy. That’s why you are suffering.

13:11 Nothing to do with people helping you or not helping you. Nothing to do with your examination or not examination. Nothing to do with your children suffering.

13:11 Nothing to do with you being a single woman or a widow or a married woman or whatever. It’s because of self seeking and envy. So, brothers and sisters, check this among ourselves first.

13:27 And then of course, take a log out of our own eye. Take a log. I must take the log out of my own eye before I look at the speck in my brother or sister side to see how to settle them.

13:38 Self seeking, whenever you see, self seeking will never understand. They would have. People would have done so much for them.

13:45 And yet it was in the heart that I would do. They forgot all the rest earlier. Now they’re only looking at the next issue.

13:52 Next issue. Nobody helping me. Nobody helping me.

13:55 And self seeking. Envier, when you can get others to do something they won’t do, they’ll get others and they’ll put on this ugly spirit of pity. Self pity, ugly spirit.

14:05 Oh, nobody help me. You know, victimized spirit. No, very ugly spirit.

14:11 When I see it. I see the spirit before the brother said to open the mouth Today I know this is a terrible spirit. After a while God will tell.

14:20 God will show if you don’t examine yourself. After being corrected by two or three brothers and sisters. Sudden destruction.

14:27 That’s the scripture you know. After being repeatedly corrected on and on. So brothers and sisters, I’m telling you, anyone with this self seeking business, after being told people, hey, care for others, why you always complain other people don’t do
for you all that they’re telling? And repeatedly you continue doing.

14:45 Sudden destruction. God says self destruction is explosion. Self implosion, explosion.

14:51 Brothers and sisters, no need. Christ seeking gives great life. Christ seeking great life.

14:57 So everything you cry out to Christ and you say what you must do. Today I get up. What I must do.

15:05 Not what I can get from people. What I can get people. This fellow must help me.

15:09 That fellow must help me. No. What I must do as I begin to do Great life comes because selfless.

15:16 I must command my heart and mind in the name of Jesus Christ to be selfless today. Why? Because our hearts are like that command. And Jesus has given his name, his blood to wash us clean and to command our heart and mind to be selfless.

15:31 Selfless. No more self seeking to be God seeking. God seeking in the name of Jesus Christ.

15:37 God seeking get great life through. I’ve seen these cases who’ve changed from self seeking to God seeking finally have great life. There’ll be many testimonies even in this own congregation.

15:49 But there are still some in this congregation that I minister have this envy and self seeking going on and I pity them because self destruction coming and keep on telling them, not listening what to do. We can only tell. We are not dictators, we are
not the police, we are not soldiers, we are not human soldiers.

16:02 We are not prison wardens. We can only tell. And after the cry for mercy from God, brothers and sisters, everything we do check for self seeking and then turn it into Christ seeking.

16:19 What does Jesus Christ, the husband of my soul wants me to do in this instance? And I will endure. I will pick up my cross and walk, walk. I turn the other cheek, I give away the next shirt or whatever I go in Jesus name I get up and walk.

16:36 He suffered for me. I take up my cross and walk. I will not be depending just people must help me, help me, help me.

16:43 And then I will say I want to help people. I want to help people as you begin to say I want to help people. Oh things life begin to change.

16:50 Jesus Christ will move for you. In Jesus name I pray Amen.
