Scripture:
John 6:29
“Jesus answered and said to them, ‘This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
Understanding:
Many people sincerely want to serve God, but true service begins with believing in Jesus Christ. To believe in Him means to trust Him, rely on Him, obey His Word, and remain faithful to His teachings. God’s work is not only about outward actions, but first about having faith in Jesus Christ and living according to His commands.
Application:
I will choose to trust and rely on Jesus Christ in all things. I will believe His Word, obey His teachings, and remain faithful to Him. I will not depend on my own understanding, but I will follow Jesus Christ and allow Him to guide my life each day.
Prayer:
In the name of Jesus Christ, Lord Jesus, make me trust you more and believe Your Word completely. Make me to obey your teachings and remain faithful to you. Let my life reflect true faith in you and make me willing to follow you in all things. In Jesus name i pray amen.
