Scripture:
Jeremiah 17:8
For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
Understanding:
The thoughts I allow in my mind shape the direction of my life. When I meditate on the Word of GOD, my life becomes stable, fruitful, and strong like a tree planted by rivers of water. Christ renews my mind and makes me produce good fruit in every season.
Application:
I will guard my mind and focus on the Word of GOD each day. I will reject thoughts that lead me away from Christ and choose what is pure and true. I wiIn the name of Jesus Christ, Lord Jesus, renew my mind and make me like a tree planted by Your living water. Make me walk in Your truth, and make my thoughts and life produce fruit that glorifies You. I pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
