Scripture:
Matthew 12:39
An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.
Understanding:
JESUS CHRIST teaches me to believe HIS Word instead of seeking signs and wonders. My faith must rest in who JESUS CHRIST is, HIS death, resurrection, and HIS promisesnot in outward signs or experiences. I worship GOD in spirit and in truth because JESUS CHRIST is enough.
Application:
I will seek JESUS CHRIST through HIS WORD and obey what HE teaches. I will not chase signs or wonders, but I will place my trust in JESUS CHRIST alone and remain faithful to HIM.
Prayer:
In the name of JESUS CHRIST… Lord JESUS.
Make my heart seek YOU and not signs. [pause] Make me worship YOU in spirit and in truth, trust YOUR WORD, and remain faithful to YOU always. I pray all this in the name of JESUS CHRIST. Amen.
Additional Prayer:
When I am in fear, anger, anxiety, or worry, I call the name of JESUS CHRIST and the BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST many times until the fear, anger, anxiety, and worry go away. And I receive peace of mind from JESUS CHRIST.
Then, by the grace and mercy of JESUS CHRIST, I am able to do what is right in JESUS CHRIST.
I encourage you to call the name of JESUS CHRIST and the BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST many times. Let’s do it together:

- Make me love even those who do or say things against me, because I want to be a son of GOD, and as a son of GOD, I love all because GOD is love, JESUS CHRIST is love.
- Make me deny myself and pick up the cross daily and follow after You, LORD JESUS CHRIST.
- Make me, LORD JESUS CHRIST, be GOD-seeking and not self-seeking always. If I am self-seeking, it will cause every evil thing to come upon me.
- Make me GOD-seeking by looking for Your Word in everything I do. Not my way anymore, LORD JESUS CHRIST, but Your way forever.
Receive the peace of mind from JESUS CHRIST.
Then teach someone about JESUS CHRIST, so they too may have peace with GOD and be blessed.
