Scripture:
James 1:22 (NKJV).
“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”
Understanding:
JESUS CHRIST calls me to live by HIS truth and obey HIS Word. When I only hear the Word without obeying it, I deceive myself. As I remain in HIS Word and do what HE commands, HE keeps me from deception and helps me stand firm in the truth.
Application:
I will examine myself every day to see whether my thoughts, words, and actions are according to GOD’S Word. I will ask LORD JESUS CHRIST to make me obey HIS Word and walk in HIS truth instead of following my own understanding or the ways of the world.
Prayer:
In the name of JESUS CHRIST… Lord JESUS. Make me obey YOUR Word and walk in YOUR* truth every day. Make me examine myself and keep me from deceiving myself. I pray all this in the name of JESUS CHRIST. Amen.
Additional Prayer:
When I am in fear, anger, anxiety, or worry, I call the name of JESUS CHRIST and the BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST many times until the fear, anger, anxiety, and worry go away. And I receive peace of mind from JESUS CHRIST.
Then, by the grace and mercy of JESUS CHRIST, I am able to do what is right in JESUS CHRIST.
I encourage you to call the name of JESUS CHRIST and the BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST many times. Let’s do it together:

- Make me love even those who do or say things against me, because I want to be a son of GOD, and as a son of GOD, I love all because GOD is love, JESUS CHRIST is love.
- Make me deny myself and pick up the cross daily and follow after You, LORD JESUS CHRIST.
- Make me, LORD JESUS CHRIST, be GOD-seeking and not self-seeking always. If I am self-seeking, it will cause every evil thing to come upon me.
- Make me GOD-seeking by looking for Your Word in everything I do. Not my way anymore, LORD JESUS CHRIST, but Your way forever.
Receive the peace of mind from JESUS CHRIST.
Then teach someone to call the name of JESUS CHRIST, and you will be blessed by JESUS CHRIST.
